'Reminisce' opens the dancefloor with an organic house energy laced with subtle nods to acid house. Crisp, fluid basslines and squelchy licks peek through the rhythmic foundation, while ethereal, mystique tinged vocal snippets drift in and out, casting moments of nostalgic introspection. The track strikes a balance: it is rooted in groove yet curious in texture, inviting repeated listens and surprises in its details.

Flipping to 'Saxeus', the tone deepens. Here lies the more introspective half of the release, slower to unfold, richer in harmonic nuance, and suffused with an emotional weight that turns inward. Where 'Reminisce' reaches outward, 'Saxeus' converses with the self, leaving more space in its arrangement and allowing subtle shifts in mood to resonate.

En el 2006 Silvano Zetina(guitarra, programación y vocoder) y Luis Fernando Alejo(bajo,programación y voz) se juntan para producir los primeros temas del proyecto.  Después de un tiempo en el estudio, deciden presentarlo en vivo. Se une al proyecto Gabriel Lastra(batería) y continúan con una serie de presentaciones en lugares de la ciudad de México como:  Hookah Condesa, Hookah Sta Fe, Black Horse, Cibeles, 303, Imperial, salón Patanegra , Guadalajara Go, Artic bar, Corazón de Maguey,  club Atlántico, evento Gran Tribu, la Pulquería de los Insurgentes... y eventos particulares. 

También se han presentado en festivales como Time and Space, Goliath y Querida Haití....  compartiendo  el escenario con artistas  como Chromeo(goliath) y Simon Posford (time & space).

En octubre del 2009 comienzan a  grabar y a producir  lo que será su primer disco llamado Mezcal triple, el cual se edita en julio del 2010. Once temas realizados producidos y mezclados por Mezcalites. A partir de agosto comienzan a presentarlo en vivo, y lo siguen promocionando hasta la fecha.

Mezcalites combina elementos de la música electrónica con funk, rock y jazz.. y un toque de mezcal, generando un sonido cálido que invita a bailar.
