With this second EP ever released and his second offering to the Electric Shapes' catalogue, Smogo dove deeper into the areas of the subconscient. With a blend of hard rhythms and dangerous sound designs, gathering both his love for Science-Fiction and organic textures, this new EP reflects more than anything his attraction towards ultramodern mental music, well reflecting the ongoing european enthusiasm for fast paced techno, buzzing soundscapes, ethereal harshnes, citing A Strange Wedding, Raär, Solma, Trois-Quarts Taxi System or Sole Massif as his source of influence. Calling this wave as "psytech", it conjures on the dancefloor a bestial spirit made for dance, self-abandon, communion with the others.

premiere: Smogo - Mind Poison [Electric Shapes]

We are glad to present the debut LP album from an artist within the Organic Signs family: @solmadj . One year ago, the French artist planted the seed of this sonic journey with his set at The Memoir by Hypnus Records. Now, that seed has fully blossomed, unveiling a collection of new creations. Eight tracks that define his sonic universe, where DnB, halftime, and tribe intertwine in an atmosphere of hypnotic textures and pulsating synths.

The journey begins with Wetlands, drawing us into a mist-laden landscape where solitary birds glide through the sky and the dense humidity clings to every breath. In the dim light, a deep, enveloping sound spreads through the air, merging with electrified gusts of wind. As we move forward, distant echoes of other life forms emerge, thriving in the space between water and earth.

The first heartbeats stir in Mud. Continuing the path set by its predecessor while subtly layering new elements, the track immerses us in mystical soundscapes, unlocking portals to uncharted dimensions. Percussive fragments, scattered across the stereo field, begin to surface tentatively, paving the way for Clay, where the hypnotic progression deepens.

With Spores, the rhythm evolves into 4x4, maintaining the ethereal essence that has permeated the album from the start. Percussion elements phase in and out, leading seamlessly into Trimitic, a stripped-down yet profound exploration of minimalist Tribe.

The album builds in intensity, reaching its peak with Fungal Network, an electrifying burst of energy crafted to set the dancefloor ablaze. Then, The Consciousness of Plants slows the pace once more, introducing a whispering voice and a synth that oscillates fluidly, pulling us into its meditative sway.

The journey culminates with Reset, where the tempo eases, and the narrative comes full circle. The echoes of birds return, this time illuminated by the clarity of a new dawn. With Liquid DnB rhythms and textures, Solma concludes his debut album with a farewell that lingers in the mind, resonating long after the final note fades.

Jones&Roth love to cook both in the kitchen and the studio, and with The Menu, they ser-
ve a full evening’s experience. It begins, as many great evenings do, with a quiet reunion.
„Lange nicht gesehn“. A glance across the table, a shared memory, a familiar warmth. The
conversation flows, playful and hungry – Fish and Chips, I Wanna Eat.

As the evening unfolds, the flavors deepen. Curry brings heat, Biang Biang adds texture,
and Garnelen für Zwei speaks of closeness, shared bites, and unspoken things. There’s
spice in the air, maybe even Shakshuka bubbling gently in the background. Somewhere,
Alberto from Pipaso tells a story – his Verdegang winding through herbs, gardens, and
time. Later, the mood shifts.

Jungle vibes - Sick Pad Thai lands on the table with bold confidence, while Halloumi of-
fers dubby comfort in contrast. A Ketks between sips, sweet and unexpected serving the
trippy contribution to the night. Then instrumental trap infused Dessert Fendi to finish
and to put you into your dreams.

Finally, a last surprise: a remix of Curry, reimagined like a digestif, lingering on the palate
and in the mind by fellow cooking friend Julian Bainbridge. A carefully curated evening of
house and heart, playful details and polished taste.
