Mezmurah is a Toronto-born and raised author and hip hop artist who started writing poetry and songs at the age of 11. Growing up in Rexdale, a neighborhood within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Mezmurah gained experiences and perspectives that have shaped their art. Their introverted nature has also played a significant role in their artistic journey, as they often find solace in expressing themselves through their writing.

Mezmurah has released two EPs, "In a World Like This" and "Something-ology", and several singles, including "Traveling Man" and "Fly". He is currently working on his debut EP "To Whom This May Concern", which is set to release in early 2024.

In addition to his music, Mezmurah is also an author, with his second book "Well Spoken Good News: A Dedication to Hip Hop" set to release in Mid 2024. This book is a collection of essays and poems that reflect on Mezmurah's relationship with hip hop and its impact on his life and art.

Mezmurah's conscious-based music is a fusion of different genres, influenced by artists like 50 Cent and K-os. His music aims to tell stories that resonate with people and inspire them to reflect on their own experiences and emotions.
Mezmurah's artistic expression will take you on a journey that reminds us that no matter what the terrains of life may bring us, we should always carry mirth and be in pursuit of merit.
