Latest Mezcast is back from Sparky Blakemore. Heres what he had to say...

"If Im being honest ive found it hard these last 12 months to really enjoy mixing. After months of trying to find out whats wrong iIve realised Ive got caught in the trap of looking for music I think other people will enjoy rather than tracks I enjoy. This can be the case when you are djing out on a regular basis but the lockdowns allowed me to get back into tunes I like and I have found my groove again. Theres some riggy parts to this mix as its been a while but this makes it sound  alot more organic"

Mezzanine is a Warrington based collaboration of friends and DJ’s born out of a shared love for creating music and moments with likeminded people. After a series of successful private parties, the crew wanted the numbers to grow and bring these experiences to the public domain, the overall concept aiming to combine the attention to detail of a large scale event with the vibe and mood of a more intimate setting.

Sonically, Mez varies from set to set and party to party, bringing a wide range of musical tastes and styles to the table ranging from the sample driven sounds to the darker, more rhythmic realms of techno and everything in-between. No matter the event, Mezzanine always achieve its aim of bringing energy, atmosphere and variety to the audience.

Mez is always on the lookout for new opportunities and collaborations across the UK and beyond and with this in mind, Mez has ambitious plans to grow and increase it’s reach in the coming years.
