I edited this song three years ago and upon reflection I can't help but reminisce on how much I've changed (in large part to my detriment). I remember feeling all my built up angst and sadness seeping into every part of my mundane existence as a High School immigrant rat that couldn't for the life of him adapt or get a reasonable solution to any of my problems. I remember feeling dejected by the heartbreak of my first love; even now it's hard to reconcile that I will always be my biggest opposition in ever finding a substantive "love". I remember how jaded and tilted my head would feel or the constant heart and metal aches that would pierce my mind trying to concentrate on World War II analysis while still trying to maintain a palpable relationship with my never ending self hatred, much of which I still struggle with to this day. Ideas of self-accountability, self-worth and success as an always aspiring hopeful soul. Not much can change in three years but listening back I get to glimpse at all the times I smiled when no one was looking. Momentary happiness. A time elapsed in broken memories.

I think I chose to re-name this out of desperation to save face of what is possibly the sprinkling highlight of my nihilist retention-span. Stuck with horrible dentures, bleeding from familiar abuse, counting on ideas. My exceptional gravitas has only borrowed me three extra withering coughs into the lifespan of what could only be redeemed by it's absolute textbook futility from long-stemmed abuse. What a dear could life remind us to be.
