Schwabe recently drew public attention as Tapan, another slo-mo duo he formed with Goran Simonoski. Two Tapan EPs, „Volume“ for Scott Fraser’s Crimes Of The Future label and „The City“ for Willie Burns’ WT Records show Schwabe’s haunting 100bpm-oriented world in the best possible light. Known as the modest master of dark slow rhythms, Schwabe as a DJ is at his best when he is given enough time and space to transcend genre and experiment with his immaculate collection of seductive rhythms, ambient music and ethnic influences. Nebojsa’s most recent ventures include three Tapan releases (’Ghana’ & ’Tarantella’ EPs, as well as the first LP, ’Europa’) on Malka Tutti label, a DJ set for the cameras of Boiler Room broadcasted from 20/44, and performances at Atlas Electronic festival in Morocco.

Berlin-based imprint Lissoms welcomes its founder Edmondson and his long time friend Practitioner for a split 6-track EP named - Linhope. 

Practitioner has been active for well over a decade under numerous aliases - releasing field recordings, musique concrete, and ethnic percussive sounds; with his electronic productions floating ambiguously between UK-centric bass music and Romanian minimal. 
Once a resident at the notorious Berlin institution Tacheles, he has material forthcoming later this year on Well Street Records, amongst others.
“Journal” is driven by an atmospheric breakbeat that evokes introspection segued into a delicate rhythmic interplay between mallet percussions and distilled melancholic chords.
"Linhope" EP is coming out on June 12th via Lissoms.

Station master of Far Out Radio Systems is the Genk based producer Thomas Neyens, who keeps a cinemascope view on electronic music and has previously released on the SoHaSo- label as Kiani & His Legion.

On Boolean Plains takes you back to the IDM hey days of labels like Warp and Skam, back when the Artificial Intelligence-series got praise from electronic music lovers around the globe. Neyens manages to reshape that magic and make it his own, thanks to more than a handful of intricate melodies and the occasional distorted beat. Edgy electronic dance music about a world in distress. It will bring you both comfort and concern.

The title track is a melancholic Bola-esque affair, with beautiful gloomy strings, eerie breakbeats and enough space to hide yourself in. But you will also find beautiful ambient bliss (‘Beta Ceti’), bleepy techno with a firm nod to Plastikman (‘Queen of the Streets’) and soothing percussive house (‘Do We Have a Cosmic Connection’), a track that will lure you to that sweet spot on the dancefloor.

While Neyens knows his classics, On Boolean Plains is not a retro album. Far from. It’s both a personal leap from what was to what will be AND an imprint of current affairs. Hence titles like ‘Theme For The Lockdown’ and ‘Tears in Code’.
