Ten Brains! Much can be achieved with One Brain, so it begs the question: how much goodness can be conceived with Ten?! There is a very clear and definitive answer, concealed in the aural fine print of the debut Ten Brains release, PIPE, which finds a cosy home on Houses in Motion.

Crisp and emotionally pervasive, the record is punctuated by playful basslines, melodic quips and bouncing broken beats; as fitting in the rainforest as in a jungle of heaving bodies in a dark room.

Taking the reins for the flipside’s reinterpretations are trusty pilots RP and Andy Garvey, who both add a large helping of heat and euphoria to the mix.

Berlin-based imprint Lissoms welcomes its founder Edmondson and his long time friend Practitioner for a split 6-track EP named - Linhope. 

Practitioner has been active for well over a decade under numerous aliases - releasing field recordings, musique concrete, and ethnic percussive sounds; with his electronic productions floating ambiguously between UK-centric bass music and Romanian minimal. 
Once a resident at the notorious Berlin institution Tacheles, he has material forthcoming later this year on Well Street Records, amongst others.
“Journal” is driven by an atmospheric breakbeat that evokes introspection segued into a delicate rhythmic interplay between mallet percussions and distilled melancholic chords.
"Linhope" EP is coming out on June 12th via Lissoms.
