For the first installment of our ‚Identity formation‘ podcast series, we have the honor to present you a carefully curated 3-h-long mix by @faruambient, one of our favorite artists. Faru is a multifaceted artist based in Berlin, known for his captivating Drone and Ambient music. His compositions are inspired by his love of nature and crafted using his field recordings of the world. Faru's music has been described as a dreamy, natural orchestra, with its focus on subtle movements, shaped noise, and harmonics of nature.

Identity formation listening session - 1 - The Flow of Dreams [by Faru]

Today we welcome Faru (@faruambient) with a generous 2h20 hours mix of dreamy and relaxing soundscapes.
Faru is a Berlin-based musician, designer, and multi-disciplinary Artist. He is crafting Drone and Ambient music from his nature recordings from around the world. His works have been described as a natural orchestra in a dream-like manner. Exploring movements of nature, noise, and harmonics.

Faru - "A moment of stillness"

Inspired by the documentary In Pursuit of Silence, I got encouraged to reflect on my relationship with silence and its role.
The mix is designed to evoke a similar sense of contemplation and reflection, offering a space for the listener to disconnect from the noise and distractions of everyday life and embrace the beauty of silence.
While absolute silence may be an ideal or a theoretical concept, in practical terms, it is not attainable or even necessarily desirable.
Each track blends seamlessly into the next, creating a cohesive and immersive experience that encourages the listener to let go of their thoughts and be present at the moment. I hope to offer a meditative and immersive listening experience to reconnect to the power of stillness.
