In no time Jack N Danny are back with another house release, this time with MFR Records. The first track of The Chemistry EP entitled ‘Chemistry’ provides listeners with a deep house sound. Blessed with the beautiful tones of the late Aaliyah, Chemistry posses an airy, delicate and instinctual feeling, yet is surprisingly layered with the track constructing of bold drums, sharp synths and resonating vocal samples. Jack N Danny take full command of the song’s evolution here and create something completely fictional and dream like.
The beautiful and original sounds of Brenda Rusell’s Piano In The Dark from 1988 have been used and molested by the likes of Pitbull, The Bingo Players and more famously Flo Rida, however none of these artists, no matter how established have been able to bring the funk to Russel’s soulful voice quite like Jack N Danny do in their next house track ‘Cry’. Jack N Danny have been able to provide Cry with a very hypnotising bass along with a lot of use from some very trusty claps and hi hats. The track elevates on and an interesting yet contradictory crescendo of punchy beats and gliding effects are formed, creating a vibe that you will want to experience again and again.
The last edition to the The Chemistry EP comes complimentary of ‘Think That’, with an upsurge of cut and screwed vocal samples, evolving synths, forceful drums, and an intense bassline, it seems that Jack N Danny almost intended for the entire EP to have an almost funky vibe. However, this is not a track to be taken lightly, Think That is dark, bumpy, glazed in emotion, spoilt by tough textures and soaks in a bath of bass. This endlessly playable last track sits nicely in Jack N Danny’s body of work and makes it impossible not to be charmed by the The Chemistry EP.

We at MFR are happy to announce that Retrosynths has a new EP dropping entitled ´Everybody Dance´ ready for the masses to purchase on 2nd May 2014. The 25 minute long EP consists of four tracks, with guest production? from Jason Jules.  The four tracks vary from feel-good grooves hinting soul and disco to lighter spacier and more colourful melodies bringing out Retrosynths dedication to house music.
Kicking off the EP with Everybody Dance, Retrosynths intertwines the UK house scene with samples from the classic ‘Everybody Dance Now’ by C&C Music Factory, creating a super-intense sugar-rush of funk, soul and house. Focusing on making the track structure simple yet not too generic, Retrosynths combines, novel drums, tingly hi hats, high-pitched synths and resonating vocal samples giving this one bags of dance floor potential.
Moving further into the EP, the second track Restless provides more of a house and dance feel compared to the previous soul inspired track. Continuing with the theme of sampled and chopped vocals, this funky track would be perfect with some soft female vocals none the less Retrosynths build-up of this track provides a reliable source of kick, bass and claps  to get down to all in one track.
 Falling In Love featuring Jason Jules is a seven minute excursion by the producer. Straight away you are hit with a light drum pattern which layers into beds of synths, claps and hollow basslines. With some sounds whispering similarities to Wiley’s ‘Wearing my Rolex’, this is an addictive piece of music which can pass as electo pop minus any bad boy MCing.  
 Closing the EP with Express, Retrosynths leaves his mark with what he describes as “true house music”.  In this track, you will hear that the 27 year old producer delivers an exquisite collection of delicate melodies and glowing atmospherics, perfect for any VIP Bar or hotel lobby. Retrosynths gives a true house experience with his Everybody Dance EP which is 100% to be applauded and available to purchase from 2nd May 2014

Known for being signed to Mark Radford’s label, house and tech producer Oliver Rees puts out his new EP entitled ‘Eyes’ with London dance label MFR Records. 
The Eyes EP starts with the electronic feast that is ‘Eyes’. This vintage and colourful sounding house track combines an inescapable bassline mixed with some syrupy keys perfect for the summer and just what our European festivals ordered. The beautifully chopped up vocals provide some ethnic diversity whilst the lyrics themselves add passion to the track. This feel good track is a reliable source of suspense with its drops and crescendos and is guaranteed to have ravers singing along this summer.

The second track 'Dance Experience' delivers a devilishly addictive and hypnotising rhythm. With the drum structure being drum heavy but bass driven, this track is screeching to be played in the clubs and is just the second instalment of the 18 minute long EP.

The EP leads us into 'Firebird' with its purgatory sounding synths, its instantly recognisable and addictive claps and its pristine drums; Oliver Rees is giving DJs material to make the dance floor go crazy when they are in need. This overall synth pop sound has Oliver Rees down to a T with his previous other productions having the same house, bass and techno sound to them. Coming back in no time with another release on MFR Records are Jack N Danny with their two track release Cash Speaks. 

Jack N Danny kick off their new release with the same-entitled track. Welcoming a tight drum pattern, a vocal sample you may recognise and impeccable drops throughout, Jack N Danny introduce their new release with a song to grip you from the very first listen. This name of the EP along with this soulful but muggy introduction is a clear indicator to what the rest of the EP’s emotions will entail. 

Ending the release with Understand, be prepared for darkness and moodiness from the duo. With the sample “Not everyone understands house” splattered over the track, it seems as though the producers needed to get something off their chest and used bouncy hi hats, bubbly basses, and vintage chopped up samples with an overall diminishing sounds as their means. The promising 17 year old producer and DJ follows up his debut release HOUSE with his brand new EP entitled My Neck EP. Opening the EP is not for the easily offended. My Neck heavily samples Khia and is full of solid pumps, an array of fizzing, squelching effects and of course those salacious vocals from the very provocative anthem of 2002 that create an after party feel to the track. Think of the songstress’ vocals on a very skippy house beat. Continuing with the 2002 theme, the 90’s baby Harry Ley decides to chop and screw Khia’s scandalous vocals to create a more macho effect in My Back. Layered on an initial tense track using extra percussive elements, adding urgency to the latter part of the track, My Back has you covered and makes a great companion for the comedown of any after party. Ending the EP with Rocking With The Best, Harry Ley opts for a lot of power and energy, creating an environment full of jittering drums to really heighten the tension and creates a chilling atmosphere through the muzzled kicks. The 30th release from MFR Records comes in the form of The Remix EP from Calle Lebraun. Five generous tracks remixed with guest production from fellow MFR family members Harry Ley and Retrosynths. Atypical showcases his lethal set of beats on MFR Records 42nd release with his brand new EP Bad Signal. The four-track record is ready for the summer time dance floor and will have you powering though your night from start to finish. Atypical introduces himself with his first track Bad Signal, an opener that has a ridiculously bouncy groove through its use of hard hitting drums and a super deep baseline, yet still manages to produce a full beam of light energy. The North London producer nails it with the addictive crescendo and plucky percussive elements. Keep On is a chilled out combination of a booming drum-beat and cosmic, multi-layered melodies. The various tones escalate and build an eight-minute pleasure zone as more beats are added into the mix. A special energy emanates to create some sun kissed techno through the use of those surging electro synths. Underwater is one of those hyperactive rhythms which explores more sinister tones. Its full of trippy, tactile detail which will slam against your eardrums relentlessly. The bass alone has a ridiculously bouncy groove that’ll work its way into your brain and get you bobbing from the first drop. Ending the EP is Your Mind, a collaboration between Atypical and MFR Records in- house producer Sankuh. The subtle percussion and warped vocals used from the beginning can send you into a moody trans-dimensional atmosphere. Ed The Spread provides the soundtrack to MFR’s newest release. The London producer shows off with two tracks as part of his Castle Dirt House EP. Voynich Manuscript is a party ready track, perfect in providing the feel good Friday feeling. Full of solid pumps, squelching effects and light synths, the irreversible bouncy groove embodied in the track will keep you moving long after the track ends. The second track Le Oubilette refuses to let you stand still. The 24 year old producer opts for weird swirling effects throughout the track as well as a range of rich and full percussive instruments to provide only positive vibes and creative energies with the track.
