As a warm up to 2016, MFR Records are back with two free downloads ‘Shaolin' and ‘The Womp' from Sankuh who his no stranger to the label. The Womp is full of trippy and tactile detail with the use of its rich techno chords, whilst Shaolin comes with an overall oriental House vibe.

The two powerful energy driven tracks mark a return from the labels summer break and introduces some tougher, faster, and far more forward thinking tracks into the label catalogue. 
With a huge line up of EP’s ready for release in 2016, MFR Records are ready to put out great House music for the real House connoisseurs, and this is just a dangerous taster of what is to come.

MFR Records goes overseas promoting Miami born producer Macht for their 37th release. A debut release with the North London record label, the Norway residing producer shows what he has in store for us with his Firm Believer EP. Straight into Firm Believer, Macht flips his style and goes for House with a slight Hip Hop influence. Not shy of a shallow baseline, building crescendos, some mellow keys and some more vocal samples to produce some warm atmospherics for the dance floor. All I’m Saying gives a storming introduction to Macht, with heavy use of skippy beats, intense hi-hat stabs and vocal samples heard throughout, he introduces himself in classic MFR style. A track that seems to have been put together especially to get the dancers hips moving and to get the head boppers heads bopping. Closing the EP is Ninety One. A reference to the year the 24 year old producer was born, expect a distinct air of familiarity with tech-tinged drum patterns, neat effects and a workout for when this track gets played at a rave near you. A hard hitting EP dropping in time for the Christmas festivities to commence and a producer who fits in nicely with the rest of the MFR roster, the Firm Believer EP will be available to purchase from 08/01/2016.

MFR Records are back with a release from Birmingham Duo DirtyBliss with their new Tech House single U.I.D. The duo manage to capture spaced out energies from start to finish for the labels 38th release. Using some punchy kicks, uplifting hi hats and intense crescendos throughout, the 19 year olds are making sure that Tech House is a staple in any DJ’s record box. The duo’s clear sound and tactile ability to compose make them a strong act to look out for in 2016. U.I.D will be available to purchase from 4th March 2016.

MFR Records are back for their 39th release, this time with a remix EP entitled Alone from Hi Volume featuring three remixes supplied by Mode FM DJs Nic David, Retrosynths and Arkansas. You can expect to be taken on a musical journey as Hi Volume supplies lots of full on solid pumps, an array of fizzing, squelching effects and wonderful crescendos in the original version of his track, Alone. Nic David supplies a calmer rendition in his version, with light percussion and some vague screwed vocals, whilst you'll find Retrosynths is ready to take your night into a whirlwind with his funky tech sound. The EP ends with Arkansas taking us into the darkness with his take of Alone. Expect a tense build up and prickly stabs to create a sense of mystery to finish the EP off with.

Lee Pearce releases his first EP with MFR Records entitled Big Up EP. The three track EP provides the London based record label with a 3 tech records to keep both the new & old ravers moving. Lee Pearce eases us into his release with the first track Big Up. The Lead track will not disappoint any music lover, with its old school House & Garage back to the 90’s feel this 6 minute track will take you into a world with groovy baseline. The Second track Move provides an addictive set of bouncy hi hats and a super spaced out vocal sample that drifts you into the summertime. Flowing with mystery and seduction, there is an inescapable melange of movement, deep thinking and world darkening within this track. The rich but never overworked sound allows to take the listener on a musical excursion. Oh Yeah sounding as if it could be the soundtrack from a 90’s Rave, the UK House producer Lee Pearce has done wonders with this EP Big Up. With the last track including the use of some pitched and mixed up grooves, low bass and chords floating in and out there will be no reason to why you won't be hooked on this last track. NineFive are here with their first release on MFR Records. The home-taught duo have been tearing up the dance floor recently with their 2 track Cellular EP, and are now ready for their unique vibe to be opened up to the rest of us. NineFive kicks things off with the first track in the EP - Cellular (Original Mix). This 7 minute collection of two-stepping tops and stimulating arp synths will raise the roof at just about any event. You can almost envisage yourself in a top underground club as the trip-inducing synth takes control of your body making you want to launch yourself onto the dance floor. With a powerful kick and deep vibrating bass to compliment the synth, NineFive have successfully achieved that deep tech house feel and we can’t wait to release it. 4AM (Original Mix) is the next tune on the EP that NineFive have to offer. The Bedfordshire based producers have really shown off what they’ve got, laying down some serious beats with this track. With a simple top directing the main focus to the bassline, 4AM (Original Mix) will not only shake your chest, but the walls with it – get used to your jaw hitting the floor when this one is dropped. Avoiding the cliché three word house lyrics, separating the bass-packed drops are some low pitched, inspirational vocals which will take you on an adventure into the underground. These perfectly compliment the bass and top, and give the song a meaningful, yet uplifting vibe that will make you want to throw your hands up in the air. NineFive have effectively delivered that dynamic energy that house music needs.

Atypical showcases his lethal set of beats on MFR Records 42nd release with his brand new EP Bad Signal. The four-track record is ready for the summer time dance floor and will have you powering though your night from start to finish. Atypical introduces himself with his first track Bad Signal, an opener that has a ridiculously bouncy groove through its use of hard hitting drums and a super deep baseline, yet still manages to produce a full beam of light energy. The North London producer nails it with the addictive crescendo and plucky percussive elements. Keep On is a chilled out combination of a booming drum-beat and cosmic, multi-layered melodies. The various tones escalate and build an eight-minute pleasure zone as more beats are added into the mix. A special energy emanates to create some sun kissed techno through the use of those surging electro synths. Underwater is one of those hyperactive rhythms which explores more sinister tones. Its full of trippy, tactile detail which will slam against your eardrums relentlessly. The bass alone has a ridiculously bouncy groove that’ll work its way into your brain and get you bobbing from the first drop. Ending the EP is Your Mind, a collaboration between Atypical and MFR Records in- house producer Sankuh. The subtle percussion and warped vocals used from the beginning can send you into a moody trans-dimensional atmosphere.
