Back in 2016, Aaron got together with his buddies Gordo and Josh (Granny Tweed” and Andy Bercaw (White Fudge/The Samples) to do a performance of cover songs opening for Joe Buck Yourself at 3 Kings. The group was called Gentleman Deluxe and they only played one show. 

There is a recording of the show itself, but honestly, these rehearsal recordings came out a little bit cooler.

I thought this might be kinda fun to share.

Here’s a voice memo from my phone during the initial conception phase of The Front Lines of Good Times back in 2015.

It’s interesting to listen to it and hear how the project has come to life.

The Front Lines if Good Times - original brainstorm notes

Pretty stoked for the final studio version of this to come out. This one was inspired by the story song style of the late Shel Silverstein. Obviously we’re just riffing words here, but from the get go, the idea was to write a story about a guy who dedicates his entire life to the pursuit of getting one-up on people around him only to find himself alone and miserable at the end of his life.

This was another backyard writing sesh from 2015.

Many of you know about the party rap side project WHITE FUDGE which has featured many current and former members of MF Ruckus. The Fudge has gone mostly dormant, but there are still a ton of songs that have yet to realize their full potential. Perhaps a new album could be on the horizon?

This is one that we were working on for the concept album “Summer of Fudge” entitled “Grill Hard/Chill Hard”

Man! Where was this one hiding?

Back when we used to do the annual "Monsters of Mock" shows at 3 Kings, we had some great picks, if we do say so ourselves.
In 2016, we took a crack at the music of the greatest wizard every to walk the realm: Mr. Ronnie James Dio.
This, to our knowledge is the only recording we got of those shows. A real shame too, because we were quite proud of that one.
