Eastern Bohemian DJ Marionette has been devoted dedicated to music since the age of 7. His first experience with electronic music was in 1999 in the legendary Hradec Kralove’s club D.I.S.C.O 2001 (which is a mainstream disco club today). His start with DJ-ing is associated with the vinyl shop S-BAHN and club CYBERCOW (already non-existent club V Kopečku - Bůvol in Hradec Kralove).

In the past he organized dozens of parties where he introduced both experienced DJs and young, promising ones. In 2009, he cooperated with the club Hlad in Hradec Kralove and thus he could develop the cooperation with other DJs and projects. Marionette & PTAAK was the project which presented techminimal accompanied by the West African drum Djembé. Among the others who he worked with was the saxophonist Thomas Neumann alias TomSax!

Marionette is looking for the funky sound so do not expect any boring and monotonous tracks. He played solely from vinyls up to 2007, but with the advent of new technologies and track digitalization he started using CD players and timecode vinyls with an external sound card.

Nowadays he hosts a party “SWEET” and his sets are all about electroswing, house, tech-house and funky techno.
