Jpunkt Spunkt - The Book Of Life ***PREVIEW***

So begab es sich, dass wenige Jahre nach der Wende in einem kleinen, beschaulichen Örtchen namens Leipzig, mitten im Luna-Park gelegen, ein paar Hundert junge Leute jeden Freitag und Samstag ein Haus besuchten. Ein Haus unweit des Auensee's. Sie trafen sich, um etwas zu tun, was viele Tausende junge Menschen vor und nach ihnen taten: Um zu FEIERN. Um den Alltag zu vergessen und um zu tanzen.

Mehr oder weniger ab 22.00 Uhr bebten die historischen Räume des Leipziger Auensee's bis in die Morgenstunden. Und das für Jahre.
Um das Intro des DJ-Teams Mr. Gray "from Londontown" und Opunkt S"punkt (Olaf Schliebe) endlich dauerhaft in die Analen der Musikgeschichte eingehen zu lassen haben wir uns die Mühe gemacht, dieses niedliche Stück Zeitgeschichte zu konservieren.

Danke an Gray Harvey für sein Hang "Altes" zu konservieren und Danke, dass wir dabei sein durften. Damals, als alles noch so EINFACH schien.

Artist Info:
Jpunkt Spunkt alias Jan Schirmer (*1977) is a German music producer and DJ. He  began in 1995 at the club "City-Musik-Park" in Chemnitz (Saxony), where he was resident DJ (with his partner Alexander Hecht (DJ *LX*)  until the year 2002. Together with his friend and partner, he founded the independent label "Public Domain Records" which in 1995 by the media-company "MGM Media Productions Leipzig" was incorporated. 
Both released 6 albums and more than 100 original compositions, productions and co-productions for her work as a DJ and productions of other artists. After the accidental death of his friend and partner, Jan Schirmer is no longer active as a DJ working. But he is continues to work for other artists and is a sought-after partner for younger DJs in the scene. Jan Schirmer lives with his wife Bea and son Lucas in Leipzig.
