"California based producer, Edward White, is another raw talent coming from US who deserves the increasing recognition he is receiving. His vibrant Deep House remixes have brought attention and support from some of the scene’s biggest names, whilst also contributing faster-paced more recent Garage originals. He teams up with UKG prodigy Yemi, a new face on the Steppers Club label. Through some heavy hitting releases on Shall Not Fade and their sister imprint Time Is Now, Yemi racked up 480k streams in 2022 alone. Edward White and Yemi team up as a weighty combo to bring us their track “Arrival”.
“Arrival” is a great example of the creative possibilities with the UKG sound, and what can be achieved through the art of sampling. Through the use of rolling drum breaks and emotional chords, Edward White and Yemi provide a breath of fresh air in the project. The classic Lyn Collins sample, famously used by The Gorillaz, suits the free flowing and dynamic nature of the track, leaving the listener in a state of euphoria."
