Going right back to 1992-1993 with a selection inspired by old C90 tapes filled with London based pirate radio recordings from Pulse FM, Impact FM, Kool and Weekend Rush etc. 
DJs like Warlock, Skie, Transit and Jinx amongst others… 
A few of those original tapes got chewed up by my Walkman at the time and sadly there was no fix for that, just game over. 
Nice to go back and recreate the style of the sets I was listening to back then (unfortunately minus the chat and adverts which added a lot of atmospherics).

Dan 92 - 93 Hardcore London Pirates Selection

This is one of my absolute favourite tapes. Ryme Tyme and Trace are deadly together and 5ive-O just adds that little bit extra - he's obviously lean! I'm guessing that this was recorded later on the same day as the Younghead set from 9th July, but I could be wrong.

The tape itself is absolutely ruined, it's been repaired/chewed up several times - you can even see the blu-tac I used to repair in the photo! Somehow it has retained a decent level of quality. In fact, this tape is in such a bad way that side A kept on slowing down during recording (which is why this is just side B) and then it broke while I was converting side B - so now I've got to go old school and try to fix it.

Not my usual off the cuff Sunday Service. For part 10 this one is a slightly more orchestrated mix from my 1992 selection. I haven't added many tunes to my original 92 stash over the years so this is probably 90% authentic to what I was listening too in 92. 

Total mix value in Discogs (median) = £425 lol

Mixed in the Temporary Structure at the bottom of the garden on 1210s. One for the Friday night Camden Palace crew back in the day :)
