Infrared is back with 'Hocus Pocus' a peak time driving techno weapon built for the mainstage. Drawing inspiration from the raw energy of Adam Beyer and Eli Brown, this track is a relentless force of rolling basslines, hypnotic synths and pounding kicks. Designed to fuel high-intensity workouts and all-out dancefloor moments, 'Hocus Pocus' delivers pure adrenaline with every drop.

At the heart of the track lies a nostalgic nod to our teenage years. A reworked sample from 'Bow-Chi' by 'Uproar', a bouncy house classic we grew up on. This fusion of old-school energy and modern techno grit sets the tone for what's to come. Expect more driving, high impact releases from us soon as we continue channelling the sounds that shaped us. This track is a remix of the original song 'Flying High' written by Infrared which is still in the process of being produced.
Techno is the driving force behind this track. The genres unique ability to blend hypnotic beats with complex layers of sound, spoke to our hearts and artistic vision. 
We took inspiration for this version from the likes of Bicep, you will hear in the breakdown, We wanted to create a deep connection between the artist and audience evoking emotions and reflecting our desire to communicate and connect through music.

Björn Torwellen debuts on CLR with the ‘Binary Fate’ EP. It marks the first release of 2025 for Chris Liebing’s label.

Björn Torwellen’s ‘Binary Fate’ EP kickstarts CLR’s 2025 with three pounding Techno tracks 31st January 2025. From the razor-sharp percussion and raw bassline power in title track ‘Binary Fate’, to the cavernous dub hits and shadowy atmospheres of ‘Fear of the Unknown’, before closing on the mind-warping signals of ‘Lost in Transmission’ - Torwellen’s ‘Binary Fate’ is yet another supersized debut on the seminal CLR.

Following Björn Torwellen’s appearance on the CLR podcast in June 2024, the Cologne-based artist now definitively joins Chris Liebing’s label with the ‘Binary Fate’ three-tracker this January. With a career spanning over two decades, Björn is known for his discography on labels like De-Konstrukt, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, nonlinear systems, and now CLR.

Founded by influential techno lynchpin Chris Liebing in 1999 and reemerging in 2021 after a five-year hiatus, Create Learn Repeat (CLR) has hosted a range of artists like Shlomi Aber, Dubfire, Flug, Bjarki, DJ Dextro and more while also focusing on developing newer acts in the scene such as Risa Taniguchi, The Southern, and Klint.

Throughout 2024, Indira Paganotto’s game-changing label, ARTCORE Records dominated the electronic dance landscape. Aside from a trio of ground-breaking 2-part VAs plus numerous singles and EPs to further establish ARTCORE as a leading force in contemporary techno, the Psy-mama also took the label around the globe selling out shows across Europe, South America and Asia.

The monumental output of music ARTCORE has delivered since launching in 2022 is nothing short of astounding - and 2025 looks to be no different. For the first release of the new year, they venture into new territory, with a double EP format, from two different artists. Calling back Mexico’s Interactive Noise, after he released a collaboration EP ‘Dissociaxion’ in 2023, and his single ‘Ninja World’ on their OFF Sonar VA in 2024, merged with a single from ARTCORE newbies, the Brazilian duo Avan7 & Becker.

Interactive Noise opens the EP with ‘Tokyo Core’ it comes with a wave of trance-imfused bass stabs, orchestral fills, and ominous pads, to cultivate a moody yet euphoric atmosphere full of tension that grows with intensity as the beat develops.

Avan7 & Becker’s ARTCORE debut with ‘Meru’ kicks off with a rasping, guttural vocal sample reminiscent of an Aboriginal call. When the beat begins to rumble by way of fierce grooves and metallic synths, there’s a glorious clash of aesthetics when the tribal-like ambience felt at the offset is met head-on by ethereal melodics and cosmic, fast-paced percussion.

To round off the EP, Interactive Noise returns with ‘Warrior Inside Me’ which leads with an anime vocal sample in which the rhythm snugly intwines around. Climactic and stirring from the off, the melody melds galloping percussive elements and laser-strobe shots with marching string arrangements to close the release in a truly epic manner.
