We met @luimafuta thanks to our friends from @downvienna at a wild party at Fluc in Vienna in 2019 . We spend some nice days together and feel in love with his live set. When Jonas aka @KlangDruide then send us " A Spoon full of honey" as release proposal earlier this year, we directly had to think of Lui and knew this would be a great match. Lui took his friend Puste along with his trumpet and out came this beauty of a track. Due to Corona we could not enjoy their live performance at Klunkerkranich last Saturday the 14.03, but we hope the song puts a smile on your face where ever you are right now. 

As always with Hug Records 50% of the profit raised with this track are donated to the Water Project from @Love-Foundation. The other 50% are split equally between Artist and Label.

THERE once lived, in Fanti-land, a man named Father Anansi. He possessed all the wisdom in the world. People came to him daily for advice and help.  One day the men of the country were unfortunate enough to offend Father Anansi, who immediately resolved to punish them. After much thought he decided that the severest penalty he could inflict would be to hide all his wisdom from them. He set to work at once to gather again all that he had already given. When he had succeeded, as he thought, in collecting it, he placed all in one great pot. This he carefully sealed, and determined to put it in a spot where no human being could reach it. Many-many years later MAUGLI identified the hidden pot and came into light with the wisdom of creating unforgettable and emotional dreams in a shape of-what is called today-music. He can be found in the shadows of Berlin. This is his first offering for Shango Records and comes with a remix by M.RUX. These two tracks whisper loudly but scream quietly.

In these strange times it's good to have at least some nice music to rely on: A-Tweed from Roma / Italy, speaker and booking agent by day, DJ & music selector late at night, delivers a groovy and eclectic set full of afrofuturism, cosmic dark disco, global bass and tropical house.  In the last two years he shared the stage with such international artists as Frente Cumbiero, Chancha Via Circuito, The Mauskovic Dance Band, Barrio Lindo, Chinese Man and many more. A-Tweed also played at festivals like MONDO SOUNDS (Sicily), WHITE SUMMER (Spain), ARIANO FOLK FESTIVAL (Ariano Irpino), DISORDER (Eboli), among others, and had several gigs in other countries including Belgium, France, Netherlands, Greece and Serbia. He's currently working on his first EP.
Together with Andrea Cota aka Mondo Cane, he launched the JUNGLA EST with 2 releases in autumn 2018 for SHANGO RECORDS (Greece) and LA TEMPESTA SUR (Italy).

Since the entire country is getting closer to a lockdown state, i figured i could make some time to record a new mixtape for my Manic Monday Moodswing sessions. I think the title couldn't be more appropriate in these dark times as well as the mood for the mixtape itself.
