I've been playing with TipTop's 808 BD module run through the Megawave.  There are tons of possibilities with pairing these modules, but I've found the Darwin's House ROM, bank 4 to be especially good for rich, creamy kicks.  This is a demo of that bank.  The first part is the BD unmodified; then you hear the Megawave kick in.  Note: the Megawave can create a lot of extra noise when used with the BD--which is good, at times--but I didn't want the noise here, so I used a Borg LPG to cut it out so you can only hear the kick drum.

Here's a tiny little thing I put together to highlight the sound of the LPG in the Quad VCF/VCA.  I'm using the OSC1 and OSC2 outs from Shapeshifter into the VCF/VCA (in combo mode).  The Quad Trigger/Function is used to generate the plucks. Stepper Acid (via the E102) is sequencing Pitch1 and Pitch2 of the Shapeshifter.  There are no extra effects or anything else--just two different pluck and some wiggling of the Shapeshifter.  Enjoy!
