Greg always said that this song was partly inspired by a class with Toni McNaron, a U of MN English Professor who pioneered feminist reexamination of traditional critical understandings in that department and later in the Womens' Studies Program.

We sang this a lot at Sidhe Brewery and at Greg's place, I came to really appreciate and admire this song, but I never thought it quite gelled the way it seemed like it should've. Certainly seemed appropriate at Sidhe....
