@just_go_fun are two friends living in leipzig and berlin. Thrilled by 90s trance hits their collection of dream dance CDs constantly grew. Not much later they selected their favorite tracks and played their first set on a festival floor co-organised by their collective friz @freudeundradauimzenit in summer 2019. After a long flight to the moon, just go are finally back with this very dreamy mix. For this 16th show, the energetic French DJ duo Vitamine (@vitamineee)(a.k.a Artrax) prepared a 61min mixe. Tireless diggers, the collective took its strength in Cluj (Romania) by inviting artists such as Paramida, Barbara Boeing, or X-Coast. This mix between euro house and disco will make you want to go snoop on their Youtube channel where they are carefully uploading forgotten pépitasss.

The mix was broadcasted on Internet Public Radio (@internetpublicradio) in Guadalajara.

Multi Culti tune in to earth's axial tilt in the second round of it's flagship 12' series with EQUINOX I:

The global occult label kick off the seasonal shift with a magical collaboration between Mexican chug-guru Iñigo Vontier and Moscow based brothers Simple Symmetry. 'Hocus Pocus' is an anthem for the fuzzy-minded, post-lockdown party-goer. It's a mesmerizing merger of contemporary electronics and vintage psychedelia. We don't know much about Ponty Mython, but their sound is right at home on this eclectic record. A freeform flea-market of samples strewn around a broken beat, strung together around a catchy melody, 'Pinto La Meah' has an optimistic feel, a subtly nostalgic sense of travel and discovery that suits the global groove collecting theme. 

The B-side tracks take the tempo down while raising the hands in the air, perfect for lockdown house parties wherever big-room raves are still ruled out. Ecuadorian Pancho Piedra leads the proceedings with 'Servio', serving up a loopy banger that recalls classic Comeme in the best possible way. Punchy, no nonsense party track with just enough spice in the salsa. Colombia via Buenos Aires producer Hermetics teams up with Quito-based, LA-native Hannah Lee on 'Lux Naturae' with an absolutely killer beat with massive, hydraulic-level sub bass. Finally, Magic Pirate takes the downtempo breakbeat vibe into trippier territory with a wicked sounding piano and aphex-synth-sounding romp through his wild imagination on 'Make me a Jazz Coffee.' These are fresh, genre-defying and tracks to enter the autumnal equinox, and a fearless move forward in time for earth dance fans the world over.

I'm back with a new track, called 'Forgotten Memories'. This is the slowed version of the track (83%).
'Forgotten Memories' is infused with a melancholic foundation, weaving a sonic tapestry that evokes deep feelings of introspection and longing. It features dark elements that add a haunting quality, enveloping in an atmospheric depth that resonates with vulnerability.

Finally managed to record this due to the festive period and new year being waaaaay too busy.

So my 'Best of...' selections this year (or last year, I should say) were just going to be new music from 2018, which I wanted to divide into two parts - downtempo and uptempo. I then decided with there being so many great reissues and reissue compilations that I should also do a 3rd part separately seeng as reissues don't really count as music from 2018 do they? Anyway, I did manage part 1 and part 3 before New Year and now finally I can show you the missing part - part 2.

Originally when I was selecting records I had about 60 or so tracks. Editing it down to 20 was not only difficult but also rather random, if I'm honest. From those 60 I reluctantly chopped out a few and cobbled together a select few that I thought would work. Nevertheless, because of the nature of the mix (i.e., limiting myself to only tracks from 2018), I probably would never mix any of the two tracks together the way I have done so in some places it may sound incoherent. All from vinyl, of course.

In any case all of these are tracks I totally love and have played in a club or for a dancefloor at some stage this year. I mean last year.

It features (relative) newcomers Calypso Records with a couple of amazing tracks by Colossio and Inigo Vontier, Optimo Music, always on form, are represented by Feon and Sex Judas & Ricky, a couple of Cosmo Vitelli edits for Edit Service and likewise two of my own Invisible Inc cuts by Secret Circuit and Sordid Sound System. The genius that is Chris Carter appears twice too.

We also find Red Axes, Simple Symmetry, Umeko Ando (remixed by Andi Otto), Zmatsutsi, HLM38, Thomas Von Party, Yasuaki Shimizu (remixed by Kuniyuki Takahashi), River Yarra, Cleveland and Sascha Funke.

The only downside is that I couldn't fit a whole heap of amazing other tunes in, including Uwul Massa, Michal Turtle, James Holden, Otto, DJ Normal 4, Wolfgang Tillmans (remixed by Whatever/Whatever), Alek Lee, Autarkic, Milord, Sharif Laffrey and many, many more.
