adjudicate and authoritize

freedom for all but only your choice

do anything but don't sit and stare
you life is yours hammer what you dare

no verdict is ever good enough
if you think you're tough enough

drop the hammer and cry away
jailed for what? Just prayed and sprayed
how heavy doth thy crown weigh?
free your spirit but enjoy your stay

I laugh ever time I listen to this.  This was a fun project with a groove written but couldn't figure out how to sing to it. Storytelling from the point of view of a certain red haired wizard in training

She wiggled in and I was happy to oblige
Finally an easy way to let go, let someone inside

Licorice and cherry. I wouldn't have known
The end of it but now you by my side
The feelings have always been there
Destiny? Fate? It hardly matters
Don't get me wrong. I'm bloody thrilled to be shot of her
But I don't understand quite how it ended
And that is all behind me now
My friends and I now on our own journey
Suddenly loosing someone more important to us all
I realize that now I must support us and not just myself
I can't just tag along
No I am not alone, you have always been there
I'll become who I have to
show courage and smile at fear
Why are you suprised? The risk was always real
But with you here I will falter less
I know we wouldn't last a minute without you
We won't do anyone any favors by leaving now
But we will prepare. 
We will be ready for something
When times are darkest I hope I can light the way
Your patience is bottomless

This is all that matters now
and now we have to go
As we follow this pathway unknown to us
I ask for understanding because
I don't know how I will react
These burdens were never ours to carry

Was It All Just Luck

Started as some slow inspiration guitar styling by Chris Stapleton and then morphed into a bit of pop punk once I started writing lyrics based on working through mental health and moving on from the past. Enjoy.
