Young gun and Oslo-based DJ/producer, Nattl4mpe (https://soundcloud.com/user-nattl4mpe) makes his Mhost Likely Black debut with a fast-paced, rave ready, hardcore-techno killer. 

'Nejjjj' delves deep into his core sound and influences, with jungle breaks alongside trancy grooves. The single is accompanied by three stomping remixes made by TRUSSEL (https://soundcloud.com/rakafant), SYNK (https://soundcloud.com/synkduo) and Minus Magnus (https://soundcloud.com/minusmagnus).

 'Nejjjj' is a tour de force track that glides between percussive breaks, 4/4 kicks, techno with an old skool sound and 90s euphoric trance. 100% warehouse body music. Oslo-based producer duo, SYNK, follows up with a darker workout - hefty breaky techno drenched in acid and grimy sound effects. On the flip - Minus Magnus comes through with an electro, Detroit meets Chicago in a basement, rework. True machine funk spirit with acid all night. Lastly, the Trussel remix is a chunky version, irresistible doof doof, industrial deepness combined with ethereal chimes - one for the post lockdown parties.

Ukranian Danilenko steps up for mix no. 51 in the Mhost Likely Mix series with an hour of Techno weapons. 

Danilenko is an experienced techno DJ and producer, recently based in Bergen (NO). He started his way about 15 years ago. Was a part of Technologiya and Celestial formations. A former resident of Kyiv clubs such as the one at Kyrylivska41 and Arsenal XXII.  He was often hosted in all Ukrainian big cities, and far beyond its borders - Georgia, Italy, Germany, and Norway.

SGurvin's artistic depth and musical width are profound. The Oslo-based DJ, artist, and producer show his versatility with a warm and atmospheric 5-tracker on the newly established ambient sub-label: Mhost Likely Purple. 

In contrast to his earlier works on Mhost Likely, often featuring gnarling synths and brick-walled sampled drums made for the club; ETHER EATER goes in the opposite direction.

 In times filled with uneasiness, the EP's composition feels like impeccable timing to travel along - a stunning and perhaps much-needed session of relaxation and peace at SGurvin's synthesized spa.

Ring ring! Keecen returns with his third EP ‘Stereo Provider’ on Mhost Likely Green, with remixes from Ams (Surge, Shall Not Fades) and Jeku (Craigie Knowes, Haws). The EP is inspired by late 90s and early 00s house music, and contains four original tracks with his signature quirky sound, stretching across 25 minutes. An EP that in many ways sums up Keecen's new club-oriented sound.

Where his previous EP on Mhost Likely had a slower and more melodic feel to it, ‘Stereo Provider’ sees Keecen take a much more club-oriented approach, containing club tracks for DJs looking to lift dancefloors. That said, this EP also contains unexpected melodic twists and turns that has become the Norwegian producer's trademark.

Minus Magnus is pushing boundaries and exploring the depths of industrial, hard and IDM-infused Techno with his mind-bending EP titled "Voices". The sonic flight contains five genre-defying tracks poised to captivate audiences with its unique blend of raw energy, tension and a haunting narrative.

The EP starts with distant rumbles of "Terminal Breach”, where the listeners are alarmed by the forthcoming. "Freedom Access" breaks through with industrial and breaky techno beats, setting the stage for an exhilarating journey. The third track, "Stumbling Finesse", continues with breaky elements and hints of IDM, seamlessly merging the two into a peculiar blend. Entering the darker corridors, "Eerie Whereabouts" is a 909-infused Techno monster with a haunted ambience set to leave you goosebumps from the thrilling build-up. Finally, "Sport of Choice" unleashes the unrelenting force of Minus Magnus's harder side, reflecting the inner turmoil - or escape.

Armed with a penchant for experimentalism, Lofoten-born, Berlin-based artist Minus Magnus has spent the last two years expanding the boundaries of techno music. His debut EP, 'Voices', showcases his ability to push boundaries and blend techno, industrial, and IDM genres. Mhost Likely Black presents the second J-XSTAPOSE compilation. This time it features the five artists - freij, Andrømeda, Bjerregaard, Danilenko, and Christian Tilt. J-XSTAPOSE Vol. 2 is a collection of raw, industrial and hypnotic-infused techno tracks.

Kickstarting the EP is the hard-hitting ‘Gym 2000’ by Fochs Koshka member freij. A hint about his upcoming releases in 2024 on Mhost Likely. Andrømeda leads the EP down a dark and raw path with her track ‘Distorted Reality’, making you wish you were raving hard in a dark basement club in Barcelona. Similarly, a beefy workout is Flux Collective’s Bjerregaard with his ‘Meat Grinder’. The Bergen-based Ukrainian artist Danilenko delivers a twisting melodic hook in his ‘Bending Around’ that swirls and hypnotizes before local techno hero Christian Tilt completes the EP with a lighter and healing tone - making you ready for another round.

Mhost Likely's Norwegian talent, Angermund, comes blazing back onto the label with his breathtaking single "Alt på Stell" - a testament to Angermunds innate ability to craft contemporary Norwegian dance music. 

The single is accompanied by three banging remixes by no other than the Italian duo Marvin & Guy (Life and Death, Permanent Vacation, Phantasy), space disco aficionado Jarle Bråthen (Full Pupp, Bogota Records), and minimal house master Karl Fraunhofer (Det Gode Selskab)

Angermund's second release "Alt på Stell" (meaning everything is in order) is filled with influences from Norwegian House and trippy Fjord Disco and is the perfect soundtrack for late hours on the dancefloor. The track opens with a roaring bass and galloping rhythms, that is carried through with an addictive melody transporting the listener deep into another realm.

This track was originally recorded on a cassette back in 2007, when he was living and organizing raves in Lofoten, Norway. Recently, this hard-hitting, arctic track, was rediscovered from a frosty bin of early rave projects. "Beast From the Past" offers simple and effective techno with stone-cold drum programming - one for the late-night raves.

Norwegian Deep House talent Henrik Villard makes his debut on Mhost Likely Green with a slick colourful EP of groovy house and deep lo-fi. Bringing together the best of 4/4 House and putting a feel-good spin on lo-fi, Villard's "PS I Luv U EP" is a proper hazy trio of soulful vibes.

Closing out the EP, "Go On" delves deeper into a melodic corner reflecting the feeling of lost love - expressive bass-lines married with twinkling lo-fi sounds.

The singles, "Guinea Pig" and "Sumfin", are a two-tracker of sunlit house jams for your body and soul - foolproof for the early hours on the dancefloor. Each track is accompanied with remixes by Deep House and East Coast (Norway) sensation, Henrik Villard and West Coast (Norway), housemaster Reidar Bruun.

“Sumfin” is a melancholy adventure riding over a hint of optimism that breaks out in pure Jersey synth galore. One for the journey back home after a night of raving. Henrik Villard has made a slowed-down, deep house remix that will have you swinging in no time.
