We were standing in the great abyss
 
The sky was filled with bright lights
flowing and streaming around us
 
You stood on the edge of the world
 
looked back at me
 
Stared deep into the reflections of my 
eyes and said..
 
“They’re full of stars”
 
I followed you into the dark cold void
 
Forever we walked
 
A dim low light grazed over the top of 
the thick cloud of dust covering the ground
 
We laid down and embraced each other
 
Sleep
 
We laid there till we were one with the dust
 
Nothing left of our former self’s besides the
shape of our body’s entwined
 
The wind carried us away
 
particle by particle
 
Till we were scatted about the land
 
Together at last in a  beautiful whirl of dust*
