Took some time to upload this, but life got in the way (had a child etc) and I forgot about the recordings. I was booked by Sacred Vision records to play my first ever ecstatic dance set, in a very interesting time in Melbourne where people where starting to recover from the effects of prolonged lockdown and orchestrated social division.

Just something I recorded after an immensely emotional trip that's helped me process my last 6 months and remind me to not get so caught up by my ego. Just like life, it gets a bit emotional and a bit wonky at times, but also joyous and groovy :) The beauty of life and interconnection.

Thursday Trip Comedown

This mix is a representation of my latest DJ sound, for those chill spaces in outdoor settings. In the last year or so I've been on hiatus DJing as I was focused on being a new dad, but in that time on many car trips from my country abode I dug into the world of Psydub and explored it's sonic landscape honing in on artists and releases that complimented my taste in organic sounds and fusions of world sounds. 

This mix might also be coinciding with an artist applications for Esoteric 2025 ;)

I had the honour of opening for Thaalam record's recent party celebrating their 1 year anniversary. I found it quite difficult to play on a proper sound system again after soo long, but I persevered and was super grateful for playing my favourite tunes in the space they were intended to play, outdoors in mother nature.

A downtempo psy set for a day party I hosted at Nevedya in November to launch the promotion of our Magus Symphony event on Jan 17 2025 at Sooki Lounge Belgrave. It was a super nice set to put down, and I even had a little b2b with my 19 month old son Bodhi who did some scratching on the first track :)

Meet Mihow: a Polish born, Australien raised sonic alchemist whose journey has spanned the vibrant cities of Melbourne, Amsterdam, and Kuala Lumpur. He has refined a unique taste for down-tempo psychedelic grooves, enriched with cross-cultural, mystical, and esoteric elements. Mihow carefully fuses ancient and modern sounds, crafting an auditory experience that pulses with tribal rhythms, syncopated beats, gnarly bass lines, and glitchy, organic soundscapes.

He honed his skills as a DJ in the bustling nightlife scenes of Kuala Lumpur and Saigon, captivating audiences at renowned venues such as Ren @ Club Kyo, Jiro, Elysium, Pisco Bar, Vitamin D at Bromar, and Arcan. Mihow's return to Melbourne in late 2019 marked a new chapter in his artistic evolution as he delved deeper into music production and began organising events and doofs, with notable performances at Nevedya and Section 8 before entering fatherhood in 2023. In late 2024 he launched Solve et Coagula Events, bringing a blend of dark oriented Psy, Techno and Chill/Groove music events to Melbourne.
