Ethnic Sound #01 befor MIX course

TERU / STORY

I wrote this song after watching and learning from Udemy instructor Mike Banners' course 'Lofi Music Production - A Songwriters Guide'.

I then watched and learnt from the same instructor's course 'Music Mixing for Songwriters - From Beginner to Producer' and mixed this song!

I found that with Gate Staging in mind, each track sounded very clear and effective. Too much reverb?

And this is the same song, mastered using ozon10. The volume is totally different!
I was surprised.

I played the piano at the end just fine myself, 
but I'm not very good at it. hahaha

Composition exercise #02
I created a loop in Loopcloud with uklele snare, hats, etc. from which I found the root of the chord to create the bass note. I added claves and xylophones to match the guitar chords in the loop material. I also arranged and composed the music by deleting and adding parts of the loop.
I wanted to relax, so I made a relaxing song.
The difficult thing about making a song from a loop is that you cannot change the melody with the same sound as the material!
