Nugi's fascination with jazz is very clear in this mix. Relaxed jazzy and dubby tracks meet calm downtempo songs. The entire mix feels like a journey through different soundscapes. Always surprising, but at the same time moody and harmonious. Just the thing for cosy hours in autumn.

"Take Over Me" marks an evolution in Novamix's sonic poetics, exploring the boundary between emotional minimalism and hypnotic sensuality. A nocturnal journey suspended between deep techno and rarefied environments, where time dilates and repetition becomes desire. 
The track is built on a regular but fluid pulse, with a deep kick that embraces the sub without ever imposing itself. All around, echoes, grainy textures and sound details emerge and dissolve like intermittent thoughts. At the center of the soundscape, a filtered and deconstructed human voice emerges at times, like an elusive presence that whispers and guides, without ever revealing itself completely. Designed to be listened to on the go — in the moments of transition of a DJ set or in the urban silences of the small hours — "Take Over Me" is a track that does not seek shock, but persistence. A soft, slow grip that creeps in rather than imposes itself. A liquid, sensorial techno that speaks more to the body than to the dance floor.


"Take Over Me" segna un’evoluzione nella poetica sonora di Novamix, esplorando il confine tra minimalismo emotivo e sensualità ipnotica. Un viaggio notturno sospeso tra deep techno e ambienti rarefatti, dove il tempo si dilata e la ripetizione si fa desiderio.
La traccia si costruisce su una pulsazione regolare ma fluida, con un kick profondo che abbraccia il sub senza mai imporsi. Intorno, echi, texture granulose e dettagli sonori emergono e si dissolvono come pensieri intermittenti. Al centro del paesaggio sonoro, una voce umana filtrata e decostruita affiora a tratti, come una presenza sfuggente che sussurra e guida, senza mai rivelarsi del tutto.
Pensata per essere ascoltata in movimento — nei momenti di transizione di un DJ set o nei silenzi urbani delle ore piccole — “Take Over Me” è una traccia che non cerca lo shock, ma la persistenza. Una presa morbida, lenta, che si insinua più che imporsi. Una techno liquida, sensoriale, che parla più al corpo che alla pista.

After a long summer filled with music, open airs and different gatherings, this was my last festival of this very special season. 

It was my 3rd year at Ponyhof, in the wonderful Schloss Schönow, and I am so grateful that I was invited again this year. 
Due to the pandemic, we were gathering only outside in the garden and the whole program had to be adapted. I was playing the sunset slot on Friday evening, after we all reunited in the garden and shared a potluck with friends I haven't seen for a while. This was just perfect <3

Because of the timing, I could start my set with softer tunes to accompany the dusk, and slowly get into groovy and more dancefloor oriented sounds while entering the night. 

This set contains a lot of tracks I carried with me this whole summer.
