Next up on Tensnake's True Romance is the first release on the label from new recruit Steal Tapes. Based in Milan, Steal Tapes is head honcho at the Milanese label HouseHeadz00 and has also released music with Purveyor Underground and MINE IS YOURS. 

As a producer and a DJ - he has a proclivity for fun, vibrant dance House music built from hazy loops, funk samples and fruity drums. Across all 4 tracks in his 'Disco Groover' EP, he draws from this toolbox and with it whittles out 4 effortlessly effective jams.
 
'Boom' kicks off with a gooey, sultry groove which rolls tumbling drums and a filtered piano loop under a sustained string and gentle, glacial melodies. 'Disco Groover' then follows up with a truncated funk sample which is kicked into action by a 909 hat neatly spliced vocal cuts.
 
'Ego' then blooms out as another chilled and sophisticated House cut. Keys twinkle, chords melt in the middle and drums interact with each other at crossed and swung polyrhythms. 'Joy' then bursts out of the blocks with alacrity. A straight up, no nonsense House track built for bustling dance floors completes another solid addition to the True Romance catalogue
