Miah Fuego is a young Singer/Songwriter from the DMV. Miah Fuego was born October 7, 1999 under the name Jeremiah Devon Gaskins. Starting as a producer at age 12, Miah knew he wanted to do more than make a good instrumental. He spent his summers writing pop and rap songs in his childhood bedroom. In 2015, Miah was writing, recording, and producing his first mixtape "Up In The Rising" under the name JDG. The following year, he was writing and recording his second mixtape ‘Full Effect’. JDG and “Full Effect” received positive responses, with promotion from major and indie music companies and radio such as MTV, Kiss Fm, Da Black Top Radio, Lex and the City Radio, The Daily Grind Radio, and more! Miah then performed at various venues such as The Apollo in New York, The Voice (Auditions), Youth Escape Arena, government lunches, fashion shows, and block parties. Miah Fuego has been featured on publications such as Hood Illustrated, This Is 50, I Move I Live Magazine, Wrap World Rap, IG Model News, Hip Hop Music Hub, and more! Miah then released a 2017 mixtape ‘Static Perception’. Miah promoted the mixtape on live television on ‘Wazzup with Dr. Loretta Rich’ in Washington DC. Miah also modeled for Rue 21, Original Crackage, and his own clothing brand at the time. The following year, Miah Fuego released his single ‘Papi’ charting in the top 40 of iTunes singles chart and reaching 25,000 streams on streaming platforms. Miah released another mixtape in 2020 titled ‘Peaceful Reboot’, his fresh start as Miah Fuego. Miah soon after released ‘Flowers From Fuego’ in 2022, his most critically acclaimed mixtape which features Papoose and DMC. March 1st, 2024, Miah released Mixed Minds of a Monster his debut independent album. Miah is known to be a space loving nomad, spending time and living in places such as New Jersey, Philadelphia, New York, Texas, and Virginia. His flow being inspired by the likes of Lil’ Kim, Nicki Minaj, Remy Ma, Missy Elliot, Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, J Cole, Tyga, Pusha T, Timbaland, and Big Sean. Miah calls his fans the ‘Miah Mafia’, and they show great appreciation to his efforts. Miah shows no signs of slowing down as he makes his way in Hip Hop.
