Miami Horror Presents: The Shapes 

Leila is the first song released from Miami Horror's new conceptual release "The Shapes" - a unique 5 track release that see's Miami Horror step out of their comfort zone.  The Shapes combines upbeat percussive grooves, with experimental vocal styles that echo Talking Heads and other post-new wave groups of the 80s.

In conjunction with the EP's release Miami Horror are working closely with visual artists that have inspired their music such as Erin Garcia, Spenceroni, Lynnie Zulu & Annukil, as well as Argentinian and Sth african artists John Mccam & Sebatian Borkenhagen. "The Shapes" is due March 17.

Straight out of Matlock comes Patawawa a trio whose blend of blood-pumping beats, glittered guitar riffs and bass lines that bite results in irrepressibly infectious DIY disco. Hailed by the NME as sounding like "if Calvin Harris time-travelled back in time to Studio 54" with "hints of early Foals and Two Door Cinema Club" and by the Guardian as cooly radiating the sound of "peak-period Nile Rodgers/Bernard Edwards or early Madonna", the band have already scored a huge international hit with their collaboration with French producer Ted Cazey clocking up more than 4 million plays on Spotify alone.

A succession of singles for new French imprint Splinter in 2017 have seen the band cement their position as one of the most exciting new acts around earning support from the likes of BBC 6 Music and leading to brand hook-ups with the likes of Adidas, H&M and Abercrombie & Finch and now the band are getting ready to drop their debut EP, 'Bedroom', titled for the humble space where all their songs have, to date, been written and recorded. Featuring 5 tracks that will light up any dancefloor Set for release in early 2018, 'Bedroom' features 5 tracks that will light up any dancefloor and comes complete with a video from France's hottest digital artist, Regards Coupables.

The kind of band that can look at the reflections of car lights in the puddles of a provincial English town high street & see the bright lights of Downtown Manhattan, Patawawa's music is just like the original disco from the '70s the perfect, momentary, escape from a world spinning out of control.
