created a collage of beats, scratching & samples nothing short of Hip-Hop genius.
Recorded in 2006 for the relaunch of Cut It Up Def. Its been 15 years since last we heard from this Miami bass supergroup. Over time the prophetic nature of this song came into focus on both the vocal & scratch versions. The dawn of the sucker DJ was upon us. Cha-os foresaw this and created an anthem, a rallying cry to call out the wack and always push the boundaries. Battling for honor when necessary!

AKA was a side project from Kurt Larson and Mithat Konar of Information Society. Cruel Lovin' was released in 1988 on Wide Angle Records. This is my re-edit using all three versions from the ultra rare CD single.
