Growing up, the 80s were a golden age of imagination. The cartoons we watched weren’t just entertainment; they were entire worlds, filled with adventure, mystery, and unforgettable music.
Long before I ever touched a synthesizer or a guitar, these shows shaped my creative universe. Their soundtracks weren’t just background noise, they were epic. Crafted by passionate composers with limited resources but limitless talent, these themes had grandeur, emotion, and a sense of adventure that still gives me chills today.

This project actually started with a tribute to Grendizer (Goldorak). Last year, I reimagined a few of its most iconic themes in an album called Red Moon. That experience sparked something bigger, a deep dive into the legendary anthems that defined an entire generation. All those Grendizer tracks are now part of this album, along with reworked themes from Captain Harlock, Ulysses 31, Spartakus and the Sun Beneath the Sea, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, M.A.S.K., He-Man, and more.

With Anime Legends Reborn, I wanted to pay tribute to that era, not by copying, but by reimagining. These retrowave/synthwave versions bring the spirit of those legendary themes into a new dimension, blending warm analog synths, soaring guitar solos, and a modern production approach while staying true to the heart of the originals. This isn’t about dancefloor bangers or club edits. It’s about storytelling through sound, about reconnecting with the emotions these melodies sparked when we were kids.

If you grew up dreaming of piloting a spaceship, fighting for justice, or uncovering lost civilizations while these themes played in the background, this album is for you.
