One year ago, MIAP silently began pursuing his endeavors officially as a Musically Inclined Artistic Poet delivering Musically Inclined Artistic Poetry. In the process, he released a series known as "MIAP's Musically Inclined Artistic Poetry". In his fourth installment, he delivers perhaps his most diverse set to date. Exploring more with darker instrumentation and trap-esque beats, the lyrics reveal some of the most personal about the artist thus far with themes of heartbreak, triumph, family, and betrayal. As the prequel to the final entry into this series, the set sets the stage for a celebratory culmination.

And then there was the fifth…MIAP’s Musically Inclined Artistic Poetry, Vol. 5: The Final Act has arrived. In what serves as both the culmination to an era and the coronation into a new one, Vol. 5 stands out on its own by sounding like a complete body of work from start to finish. 

Returning to the original template that he focused on in Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, Vol. 5 features themes of both skits and poems to transition through the 17 track setlist. Vol. 5 also features perhaps his most eclectic and diverse sound of sampling, with soft rock and Afrobeats, to hip hop samples ranging from LL Cool J, Dr. Dre, Young MA, and Eve to name a few.

If there was ever a theme present for Vol. 5, the theme is that of celebration and emancipation; closing out one chapter of young adulthood in exchange of one of ambitious maturity, as reflected in tracks such as “Just a Little Patience” and “The Limit Doesn’t Exist”. That doesn’t mean there isn’t a sense of party either, as the infectious “Proceed to Rock” and “All for Naught” are bonafide good time gems. Elsewhere there are records on heartbreak, lust, and escapism.
