"Fame & I first connected on "Smoke" off of the Double Barrel LP. Since then we've been steadily working on music. Here's a track called "Fame for President". He gets my vote! Also check for another Lil Fame appearance on PA2.

"The Newport Authority 2 album was inspired by politics & industry bullsh*t that prevented this material from being included on PA2: The Director's Cut. Shylow and I went in and created a separate album to hold people over until PA2 drops in July. Attached with Intro, interludes and fully mixed & mastered by Joe Nardone. With confidence I can say this is not a mix tape. It will also be available on vinyl LP via Fat Beats for the heads that appreciate physical product, because I still do. I've included songs I recorded with legends such as Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Tragedy Khadafi, Lil Fame and The Artifacts. But, I've also got joints on here with some talented up and comers such as First Division, MidaZ and Big Gutta. Plus the sh*t is free - so enjoy!"

With the fifth and final leak before Marco Polo drops his highly-anticipated free-LP, Newport Authority 2, Marco states "I did a remix for "Stand Up" off the brand new Adrian Younge presents The Delfonics project (who am I big fan of, y'all should cop anything he's a part of.) Adrian sent me the album early and I made this beat. Tragedy was originally gonna lay down one verse on this on some freestyle sh*t, but once I started hearing his bars I refused to let this be a one verse song! Three verses later and appropriate hook by Slap aka Fizzy Womack aka Lil Fame we have the "Stand Up" remix. Tragedy will have an alternate version of this song on his upcoming album as well. Now please enjoy the final leak from Newport Authority 2!"

Mic Stylz (Michael Homewood) began MC'ing in 1996.  He made his first feature appearance in 2000 on the Skitzofreniks 12 inch vinyl single “C’mon Dude” released on Brick Records.  His unique punch-line driven flow and clever word-play instantly attracted people to his style and music.   
From 2001 to 2003, Mic spent time as an on-air personality at JAMN 94.5 in Boston and later at Red Hot 95 WRED, in Portland, Maine. He is currently heard on JAMN 94.5's (Boston) 'Ramiro & The JAMN Morning Show intro weekdays at 6am.
During his career, Mic has appeared on songs with KRS One, Pacewon, Termanology, Reks, Krumb Snatcha, Thirstin Howl the 3rd, Grafh, Esoteric, Akrobatik, Reef the Lost Cauze, J the S, Rasco (of Cali Agents), Breezevaflowin’, the CAMP, Skipp Whitman, J'You, Masstapeace, Kali Raps and Joey Barbieri – to name a few.  
He has worked with producers such as Mr. Green, The Returners (Poland), The White Shadow of Norway, D-Tension, The Boom Bap Addicts, Grubby Pawz, Spitz Beats, Jon Glass, Mr. Jason (of Porn Theatre Ushers), Legendary Axe (of Masstapeace) and many others.

In 2010, his single “Fantasy Team” (produced by Matteo Getz), charted for 6 weeks and reached #4 in the Nation on U.S. college radio. It was his first official release since “Bringin’ it Back” (featuring Esoteric) which reached as high as #3 on the Rap Network Record Breakers and #5 on both the CMJ & Rapattacklives.com college music charts in 2005.
In October of 2011, 15 years after he began rhyming, Mic finally released his debut album, appropriately titled: "It's About Time".  The album is available worldwide on iTunes, Amazon.com, undergroundhiphop.com and most other digital retailers.  
Mic is currently working on the follow-up project to "It's About Time", titled "A Little More Time".
