A lot of the time black rappers like to reference rich white men as standards of wealth (Bill Gates, Trump, Warren Buffet, etc). I chose one of our own that I feel needed to be highlighted. I speak on Black excellence, generational wealth, and love for community on this track. I want people to hear the name “Mansa Musa” and have to look into it. Especially young Black kids who may be able to see themselves in someone like Mansa Musa and aspire to similar heights. With this song I wanted to inspire something folks could move to but at the same time learn something new on the slick. This shit bangs! Press Play!
