JUST2 returns to Solid Grooves Raw as he serves up his new single 'Wasted'.

A familiar name across both Solid Grooves and Solid Grooves Raw in recent years with solo productions alongside collaborations with partner-in-crime Luca M, Romanian DJ and producer JUST2 is back again to serve up the goods. Making a quick return to sister-imprint Raw, he closes October with a shadowy effort as he drops his new single 'Wasted'.

Channelling the effortless drum grooves and airy melodies Romanian artists are well known for with his own tougher take on the genre, 'Wasted' balances light vocals with darker rumbling sub-bass for a subtle yet certified crowd mover.

Rising star SOSA collaborates with established producer and DJ duo Prok | Fitch. Together, they weave their distinct sound of groove-based tech house, releasing a club-driven creation suitable for transient and peak-time moments on the dancefloor. 

They explain the functional aspect of the EP. “We’ve wanted to do something together for a while through a mutual love for one another’s music. The tracks came together effortlessly; we merged our production styles, bounced the projects back and forth and ended up doing three tracks covering the full scope of our DJ sets and us as producers,” they say. “It was important to have a lead track for the EP, something that a good cross-section of DJs could get behind and then some timeless DJ tools for groovier floors, late night/early morning moments and the big rooms! We’re buzzing with how they turned out and how they’ve been working on the dancefloor.” The title tune opens with a minimal vibe before a sultry vocal slips into the soundscape, evoking a sunrise-at-the-rave mood. Stripped-back percussion allows the lyrics to breathe, while a robust kickdrum conveys a clubby feel. Like the title suggests, Sweat is a pacier tune that ripples with a low-slung bassline and sizzling vocals with a touch of reverb—the perfect late-night groover. Final tune Footsteps In The Dark unfurls with a stabby synthline and snappy percussion, offering a peak-time production primed for a club soundsystem.
