This Christmas

Twangy vibes dripping over clean finger-picking, underneath soaring melodies and lush harmonies, with a nice dose of dreamy pedal steel guitar to top it all off. A little bit country, a little bit folk, with a little twist of pop sensibilities.

Sounds Like Heaven

Taking influences from a wide range of artists and styles, this song blends the swagger of rockabilly and the grit of ska/rocksteady, with tight acoustic skanks and bouncy, fat bass lines, catchy whistle melodies and the smooth vocals stylings of MB, through in a punchy soaring guitar solo and call it a day.

Good Feelings

Micah Brown is an independent singer-songwriter and guitarist best-known for his role as lead guitarist and backup vocalist in the California-based alternative reggae-rock band, Iration. Brown joined Iration in 2013 after releasing his debut solo recording, “Down Like Hail” EP featuring the breakout single “Finally Free” in 2011, and follow-up album “The Isle of Her” featuring the highlight “Spend Your Sunlight” in 2012. 
 
Since joining Iration, his solo endeavors have taken a backseat to writing with the band, evident on their last three releases, “Hotting Up” (2015), “Double Up” acoustic album (2016), and 2018’s self-titled effort “Iration”, which will be followed up with a fourth album coming in Summer of 2020. 

Brown kicked off a new decade of music on February 29th, with his first release in four years, a two-song EP entitled “Sounds Like Heaven / Wishing Wells” in anticipation of a new album later this year and his first solo tour dates in as many years.
