The Mystical Furry Dance

This song is a tribute to our friend Jhon– a talented artist, brilliant mind, and a loyal friend– who left this world too soon. When we received a call in January telling us the devastating news, Davis and I immediately got on the phone with each other. Talking this tragedy through, we decided the best way to celebrate Jhon’s life was by writing a song. You can hear elements of his lovely voice scattered throughout the track. The artwork and handwritten title of this song also belong to him. 

Dear Jhon,

Maclaine Diemer: The idea with this piece was to make it a duet between Tixx and Toxx. Tixx, being a tiny asura, is represented by the piccolo flute, and Toxx, being a lumbering golem, is represented by the tuba It started life as a collaboration with writer Angel McCoy. She provided some Wintersday-themed lyrics and I wrote this piece with them in mind. The lyrics have not yet been recorded, but they will be at some point, so stay tuned.
