I started with the massive layered poly synth (3 synths) an then gave it a more chill vibe by recording that electric guitar part. I think it's an interesting blend of edm styles and it was a hell of a lot of fun to work on :)

Chaotic Thoughts

This song popped in my head at 10pm right before heading to bed. 
I ended up staying up that whole night (while having to go to work the next day mind you) working on this track and had it 95% done by the morning. I really enjoyed the challenge of getting the balance right between the somewhat juvenile/light-hearted first build-up and the aggressive, deep, dark drop.
