Endless Summer Nights

This is the cover of Adele's new single "Hello" that everyone has been begging me to do... I fell in love with the song after I read her interview in Rolling Stone about the inspiration behind it... she wrote this as a message to her younger self. I love that idea. The song just came alive to me because I can SO relate to that. She is INCREDIBLE. I would LOVE to sing with her someday... who knows;) I hope y'all like it. Please comment and share it!

"Hello" by Adele- Micayla De Ette Cover

This is a song from the Demo that I did in 2009. I started writing it after I graduated High School. I was so discouraged because I thought I was ready to be a "star" and nothing was happening with my music carreer, although I was trying everything. I was laying on the hood of my friends car, looking up into the night sky and just weeping tears of disappointment. As I looked up and saw how incredible it was, I felt God tell me, "Didn't I create all this? Why are you doubting what I said I would do in you? Trust me, Micayla. Trust my process." I couldn't fininsh writing the 2nd verse and bridge until about 9 years later, and my walk had deepened and my understanding had grown. I hope this song rekindles the fire of your dreams as you trust Him to fulfill them!

Every Promise

This is a song my Mom (Michele Gingerich) wrote for my old band "Hungry". I arranged the vocals.. this is a more "rock" version of the song.. It was typically done slower and a little more accustic.. Hope you like it! Make sure to listen to the bridge..Its my favorite:)

Hungry

This is a song I wrote during a time where it seemed EVERYTHING was going wrong in my life. After the death of my cousin, Tommy I just thought, "Maybe God just doesn't know how much I (we) can handle.. this is too much." I was basically having a conversation with God, like I would with a friend. Psalm 91:4 really spoke to me..I just needed God to be a shield for me and hide me away from all the hurt and pain... We were never meant to handle it alone.. we can't! God will gladly take our burdens at anytime, we just have to give them to HIM. 

Shadow of Your Wings

This is a cover of an Eva Cassidy song I did a couple of years ago for my friends anniversary party. We recorded it after people kept requesting it. I wrote the harmony parts in the middle. It was originally done by Fleetwood Mac. I love this song!! I hope you do too:)

This is a song that my friend, Dave Burns wrote. He is an incredible songwriter. We've written several songs together. I meant to upload this during Christmas, but I was too busy with writing, producing, directing, & singing in our Christmas production! Hope you like it! Its one of my favorites.
