Folie à Deux  was a short lived project I had with Kyle DiFulvio on the drums. This was our first practice together and we made this one up on the spot. It was the last song of our jam at Bedrock Rehearsal in Echo Park, CA one cold night in November back in the before times.

I don't know. I covered this a while back ago. It came up on my shuffle, so I thought I'd share it... because, why not add one more Shins song to my collection of Shins covers? I'd give this a mediocre rating for a cover...it just is what it is, but a lovely song nonetheless. I guess I'm still crushing on James Mercer...

TAKE 2...I've tried fixing the bass in this mix, added a small keyboard part and a tiny bit of vocal harmonies, and attempted adding a drum track of sorts... This was a pretty tough feat since I neglected to play to a click track...oh wellsers.

This is a demo only. A work in progress. Still editing and mastering but here is a sneak peek... built a radiohead-esque beat on ultra beat on Logic, then added keys, bass, and vox. Lyrics pending. Not sure why this goes on for so long, i'm sure i probably meant to end it much sooner. Think it's time to get back to work on this one and try to finish it up. will try to wrap it up sooner than 8 mins.
