Ariadne

Carried by an emotion of melancholy and bewilderment with regard to the paths before him, @lecours_music's first EP evokes the solitude in front of the mystery of life. The songs reflect a form of wandering between joy and sadness, hope and nostalgia, under the metaphor of a solitary crossing of the desert and the resulting inner journey.

Man stands alone before his own life and destiny. 
Around him, the material world becomes sand dunes, 
daylight fades and roads disappear. 
The path he has been following dissipates in the gusts of wind. 
The only guides he has left are not visible. 
They exist only within him. 
He is the lighthouse's sole guardian. 
The path outside may be lost forever. 
But the inner light illuminates the only path that really needs to be followed.
The inner path.
Towards oneself.

This metaphor was inspired by the ethnic chants and instruments of North Africa and the Middle East. These are regions with vast deserts, rich cultures and old history evoking a sense of deep mysticism for @lecours_music, even though he has not yet been there.

La plataforma YMLLC da a conocer un Lp que reúne 14 artistas chilenos que rescatan los sonidos más esenciales de nuestra cultura americana mezclados con la electrónica global. 

Un scanner musical a la nueva escena folktrónica chilena, en donde están presente los ritmos más contemplativos de Derrok, Rodrigo Gallardo y Carla Valenti, además de los experimentos sonoros que vienen de la mano de El Buga, Murúa y Señor Chancho, pilares de Sello Regional. 

En el lado de la pista de baile los beats son aporte de Estrellas del Trópico, Sistema Beat Andino y MadTrip. Y a cargo del rescate de ritmos originarios están Mr. Toé, Frente Tunupa y Zambo 1492. 

Finalmente el viaje es completado por el misticismo que aportan Cholita Sound y Waxuma. Mención aparte para el arte del disco que estuvo a cargo del ilustrador Tomás Ives

Aho ihr lieben Lichtwesen :)

Ich habe mich dazu entschieden, meine etwas experimentelle Tanzreise vom "Tanz der heiligen Regenbogenschlange" mit euch teilen :)

Dabei haben wir uns durch die Elemente in der Reihenfolge Luft, Feuer, Wasser, Erde, Äther nach dem nordamerikanischen Medizinrad bewegt.
Meine Ansagen zu den einzelnen Element-Wechseln habe ich in der Audio gelassen, damit ihr auch beim erneuten Tanzen wisst, wann ein neues Element einsetzt. 

Nach dem nordamerikanischen Medizinrad erschafft der große Geist Materie aus sich selbst heraus, indem er sich der Kraft der Elemente bedient:

Luft ist der erste Impuls oder Gedanke, der auftaucht, die Richtung, die vorgegeben wird.
Feuer ist die Kraft der Transformation des Impulses ins Außen.
Wasser ist die Kreativität und das Talent bzw. der Flow, mit welchem der Impuls ins Außen gebracht wird.
Erde ist schließlich die materielle Manifestation des Impulses.
Der Äther taucht so in der Erd-Medizin nicht auf, ist hier aber als die erlösende Ruhe nach Vollendung des Werkes zu verstehen.

Die Art und Weise, wie der große Geist erschafft, spiegelt sich im kleinen auch in uns Menschen wieder.
Diese Tanzreise soll eine Anregung zum Erkennen unserer schöpferischen Kräfte und Fähigkeiten sein.
