We are just nymphs....

I was a fool, thought my beauty didn't define me
Never again will i make that mistake, I was used and forsaken for that

I can't bare to watch my daughter suffer like I did

II. 'The Great Thinker'

So? I don't know what love is
Sex? Well I just don't care
God? There is no such thing, but
Love? Just tell me where

My mother said I can't make any friends
Nobody wants you if you're a thinker"

Why does nobody like me?
Secretly, I'm so lonely

III. 'Rain'

Early december, oh how I remember
Your face as you told me 
Your name was Rain
I was worthless, you were perfect, yet you couldn't stay

But oh, it was love
Just two nymphs in the winter sun
All a girl could ever want
Every touch, every breath, every colour in her hair
And if love was rain
Then she washed my pain away

Safe in her arms, I said 'run away with me'

Everyone here is just out to get you
Only a lover could ever keep you safe
So let's run

IV. 'The Life of Rain'

We were just devils in an honest place
He was a stranger with an honest face
And I couldn't believe the mess we were in
'Don't worry, my dears', he said with a grin
He helped us inside, said we could stay
And I guess I just trust every honest face

But we weren't aware of the trouble to come 
He threw us in a cell and held up a gun, 
"don't run
run away
There's no where to hide, my dear
You've nothing to fear
Yeah, you're safe here
You're safe here"
Then he pulled the trigger,he blew rain away
 
"Only a thinker should deserve this"
Now all I had has been relinquished 
Weeks became months, locked in my cell
What once was a nymph is now just a shell
Not a thinker, not anymore

Once I was broken, the man let me go
"Any nymph caught 'thinking' will end up like her
So go"
Fly away, I'm not a fairy 
I'm just a nymph
It took the death of rain 
To set me straight
It took the the life of rain
But now you're gone

V. 'Just a Nymph'

Fairy walks home late at night
Finished for the month, now she waits for a week, she just sleeps til then
Now she's counting every name, using that big brain, she remembers everyone, every touch

And she would fool you, seems so carefree
Like she's meant to, so you can't see 
What she's been through, oh she's just nymph for you to do as you wanted

"And I feel lost and alone and ashamed, where is rain? Just a nymph, a nymph"

Beauty defines her, a war in her head still confines her, her lover is dead, don't remind her, just take her to bed, it's much kinder this way

VII. 'Beauty Defines Us'

Baby what's the point, though I look so perfect
I am just another lay, to another boy

Love is a fairy's tale, where your feelings matter
I don't want to feel a thing anymore 


I am a whore, don't know what for
And this is my life, oh is this it?

There was a war,  i don't know what for
And nobody wins, when you have wings
This is a war, I don't know what for
This is a war, and we have wings
And claws, and teeth that gnaw
If this is war, then how long for?
I must protest to make a nest
before we learn to clean this mess
