I’ve never really known quite what to make of life. I found my 20s particularly confusing.
This EP is an attempt to capture my thoughts on this roller coaster… I’ve tried to be as honest as I could in taking these snapshots.

You can feel the ecstasy of life on Moonlight.
The magic & frustration of romance on Spring & on Lost.
The fear & trepidation of tearing my life away from home to a distant place in Spinning.

If songs are like pictures, then this is my best take on a photo album of the last 10 years of my life.

None of its been easy, its raw & real, I hope you can hear that.

Sometimes my enterprise generates eyes
that can’t see past my eyes.
Sometimes my thoughts create versions of me
I never meant to be.

Sometimes I can’t give me
the love I need to see.
Sometimes I can’t create the eye in time,
or the life in mind.

V. The Confusion

Sometimes I can’t get out of my own way.
Sometimes I don’t know which way.
Sometimes I need to be.
Sometimes I need to see.

VI. The Remembering

Sometimes I need to remind me.
Sometimes I need to remember who I am.
Sometimes I don’t know who I am.
Sometimes I’m only what I am—
but I can’t see past who I am.

VII. The Duality

Because the me of the eye is not always
the eye in the me.
I’m a duality inside a head,
coming to a mind to see.

I can’t see past the veil I create.
I can’t see past the mind I feed.
I can’t see past the eye I want to date—
but I have to learn how to.
