Senso Sounds has been redefining techno since 2014, becoming a home for forward thinking and sharp edged beats that have rocked dance floors from Berlin to Sao Paulo. Founded by one
of the scene’s most consistent producers and DJs - Oliver Huntemann - Senso has almost a hundred releases under the belt, from many of the defining artists of the last decade. Every so often the label drops a collection showcasing some of the artists that need to be on your radar, and Senso Sounds Level 11 doesn’t fail to deliver.
Metodi Hristov drops Warp Drive - a fittingly titled track that starts as it means to go on - hurtling through space at breakneck speed. The drums and percs fire the whole thing along while the bass and pads bring a sense of movement and excitement that never lets up. Strap in for this one.

Kaufmann’s Unravel Me sits nicely in this compilation - a tightly wound track that builds its energy over the full almost 9 minutes. The almost motorik drums maintain the groove while alien
sounds and metallic stabs add drama and energy. The vocal is a perfect encouragement to let go and feel the moment in all its glory.
Luis M’s Invisible Light is a hard-packed bomb - the groove is tight, built around a thick kick and precision hats and percussion. As the track progresses arpeggiated synths and dense slabs of sound wash across the track - the atmosphere is electric.

Sunlit skies shine brilliantly in the portal before you in an enchanting azure blue while the rays of light that cascade invisibly through them reflect from the organic curves that define a city of gleaming steel. Interwoven amidst its swooping structures stand fantastical examples of local flora, contrasting their metallic neighbors with varied viridian hues. Crowning some of these grand greenways are vibrant flowers, bursts of fuchsia, tangerine, and indigo that further accentuate the city’s naturalistic grandeur. 

Indeed, so interwoven are the buildings of this great metropolis with the bindings of nature that it is difficult to discern one from another, each as interpenetrating in its essence as the waters of two rivers at a confluence. It is as though each sprung up from the other, or that those who dwell within have achieved a mastery of the twin disciplines of technological and natural understanding that few can claim to even partially possess. This city in the portal exudes an aura of bucolic peace that calls to you deeply. Will you step through and bask in its wonders?

LUIS M makes his VISION SERPENT debut with SYNTHUATION, a single that sets its listeners tumbling through the tripped-out wonders of VISION SERPENT’s sonic portals as distant synths bellow out atop a steadily thrumming bassline.

Bayawaka is an artist name of Golan Aflalo, originally from Jerusalem, presently living in Berlin. Initially, Golan was all about Broken Beats, PsyBass, Breaks and Chillout, but in the last few years he branched out to four-on-the-floor genres which he DJ’s under the name Golanski.

Since the early 2017 Golan is also a co-managing Digital Structures’s Berlin branch, and this following xXETEXx Vol. 02 is his take on the world of Psychedelic Tech - hand picked, road tested, grass fed and organic voyage into the diversity of dance floor sound. Egomorph - Supernatural

Michael Abel-Larsen, known as DJ Banel or Michael Banel, is from Copenhagen and is a founder and co-owner of the legendary Iboga Records, IbogaTech and Sofa Beats labels. 

With a DJ career starting in 1988, his musical journey has travelled through more than three decades, countless countries and an unimaginable number of stages. From the early acid house era of the 80s to founding Iboga in the 90s and now, Banel has been at the forefront of trends in the electronic scene since the early days to whip dance floors into a frenzy around the world.

Today you can find Banel dropping either massive techno bangers or destroying dance floors with thumping progressive trance sets. Whichever style you choose, though, one feature of his performances remains the same: expertly crafted arrangements take rapturous listeners through the peaks and troughs of the genre on a musical journey to elation.

One of the international scene’s established taste-makers, Banel’s access to the freshest sounds and sense for ‘the next big thing’ has taken him around the globe from the dusty outback of Australia to the hot deserts of Israel, from the beaches of Mexico to the ice-cold midpoint of Russia and beyond. Driven by pure passion for the music and the scene, there is no sign of Banel slowing down any time soon.

Banel is also one half of the duo MVMB, releasing the full-length album The Sleeper Must Awaken on Iboga in 2016 and the follow-up Phase 01 in 2019, released on Ibogatech.
