Michael Elishkov, aka Basaltic, is a 37-year-old dark psytrance artist from Holon, Israel. His music is a hypnotic blend of deep, atmospheric soundscapes and old-school dark psychedelic energy, drawing inspiration from the golden years of the genre (2004-2005). With a balanced BPM and a fusion of eerie melodies and raw intensity, Basaltic crafts sonic journeys that transport listeners through cosmic landscapes, dense forests, and shadowy depths.

Over the past five years, Basaltic has honed his craft and released music on renowned international labels such as Banyan Records, Visionary Shamanic, and Egohunter Records. His artistic vision is influenced by the legendary Kindanza, whose early works shaped his unique approach to sound design. His sets capture the essence of dark psy while introducing a melodic and immersive dimension that sets him apart.

This is the ninth set in Shaman Booking’s ongoing project to promote Israeli artists and showcase original talent to a global audience. This is the Indigenous Forest, a living, breathing realm steeped in the wisdom of millennia. It is here, between the tall, gnarled trees, where the veil between worlds grows thin, and the creatures of myth and legend roam free. As the golden rays of dawn pierced through the canopy, a chorus of birdsong filled the air, weaving an intricate tapestry of melody. The villagers nearby often spoke of it in hushed tones, warning tales of strange sounds echoing between the trunks, a harmony that seemed to grow and shift as night falls, as if the very woods were alive with music. The wisdom of the Ancient Ones, the elders of the forest, is whispered by the wind, carried on the rustling leaves, and echoed in the songs of the nocturnal creatures.
