During 2013 Students from London College of Communications’ BA Sound Arts and Design and MA Sound Arts composition course were invited to develop Sonic Trails for Tate Modern.

Students spent the evening at Tate Modern after all the visitors had left and recorded the sounds of the building, as well as making their own interventions in the space including an impromptu concert in the Turbine Hall and a choreographed dance in the Joseph Beuys room.

These sounds were random noises that filtered in from the environs around the temple such as traffic noise etc, which was further manipulated.
