Michael Christopher makes his debut on Kindisch with a 2 track EP titled “Keys To The City”.  First up, the title track; a deep and hypnotic number that opens itself slowly and throws a lot of atmosphere around as it rises. Then it turns around on its heels and rolls a bass line that will rattle your teeth right out of your face if you’re not careful. The ‘b-side’ is home to ‘Fuzzy Logic’, a more upbeat and sci-fi sound featuring a catchy vocoder to introduce us to the track. Waiting for us inside is a highly electronic feel with rhythmic and ambient synths abound. All in all a fantastic EP and another example of the diversity Kindisch promotes.

Michael Christopher is a producer, engineer and DJ based out of Brooklyn, New York.

Michael also works as one half of live act MC&Hammer (@MCHammerMusic) and collaborates on production with Minnesota jazz pianist and producer John Camp and Brooklyn multi-media artist, Max Lauter. Projects have contributed music to the @Cityfox Circle Compilation 1 in September of 2012.

A debut solo EP on Get Physical sister label, Kindisch (@Kindisch), was released on March 4th, 2014.

As a DJ and live act with MC&Hammer, Michael has played:  Space-Miami, Tree House, Eve, PS14, The Cove, La Folies, The Electric Pickle, Good Units, The Highline Ballroom, SRB Brooklyn, The Panther Room, TBA, The Raven and played for US promoters: Resolute, Autobrennt, Verboten, Miami Rebels, LinK Miami, Blk Market NYC, Mess, Audiolism, PL0T and VooDoo LA. Michael has played gigs in the US, Mexico, Puerto Rico and has also toured Chile and Argentina in 2014 with Parties 4 Peace.

Before moving to New York, Michael was resident DJ for the PL0T collective, based out of Miami, FL.
