Alan’s new single on Drumcode demonstrates exactly why Alan Fitzpatrick is a powerhouse within the techno scene. ‘The Tetra’ will enrapture the dance floor from the off with it’s brooding nature and syncopated claps. It pushes forwards with glistening highs before more melodic stabs join the equation and slowly the beautiful melodic phrase partakes in this outstanding piece of work. ‘We Are Forever Young’ finishes off the single with a slow burning after hour’s vibe that will keep the clubbers nodding. The third and final track ‘1992’ takes us back and has a tougher more energetic feel to it. With crunchy drums, a melodic synth and a catchy vocal hook this record is another Alan Fitzpatrick masterpiece.

After the success of the first A-sides compilation in 2012, Adam Beyer has decided its time to release another. With Adam's stature steadily growing as one of the leading talents in the Techno scene and the rise of Drumcode, the standard of demo's that have been sent to Adam have been top notch. Adam has now decided to release two compilations with 10 tracks on each, both consisting of tracks that Adam has tried and tested. There are also new artists that have been invited to release on Drumcode for this compilation and others who are a staple in Drumcode's core family. Combining both old and new talents Drumcode have come up with something unique and distinctive to make this two-part compilation something extra special.

Foremost international techno outlet Drumcode is delighted to announce the release of its next full-length album, ‘Satellite’, by enduring Italian techno talent Sam Paganini.

Though he has been active since the mid nineties, recent years have been hugely successful for Sam, with searing techno EPs coming on revered labels such as Riche Hawtin’s Plus8, Sven Vath’s Cocoon and of course, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode. In his time he has been responsible for underground hits like ‘Zoe’, ‘Polyester’ and ‘Fire In My Arms’, all of which demonstrate his dynamic understanding of sexy, dark and hypnotic techno grooves and at the same time have earned him plenty of great Beatport chart positions as well as respect from the best in the game.

Incredibly, ‘Satellite’ is Sam’s first full-length album. Informed by his DJ gigs at legendary places like Berghain in Berlin and Cielo in New York, the album starts with a dystopian bit of sonic scene setting, as if a space ship is charging up ready to take off.

From there it’s a case of getting straight down to business. ‘Another Chance’ is a spacey bit of cantering techno and ‘White’ is rooted in devastating kick drums and is riddled with serrated synth lines that build lots of great techno pressure. ‘Down’ is an undulating bit of funky techno complete with choice vocal flourishes and tracks like ‘Lotus’ are prime offerings from the deeper end of the scale.

No two tracks sound the same on Satellite: Sam is always teasing out a new bit of texture, nailing a slightly different vibe or exploring different amounts of light and dark throughout the course of this most excellent album. This is evidenced by diverse cuts like ‘Dusty’, ‘Toxic’ and ‘Rave’.

Despite ‘Satellite’ being Sam’s debut album, it showcases his seductive style in all its glory across 12 fantastic tracks that will leave you begging for more.

Alan Fitzpatrick makes a triumphant return to the scene-leading imprint this August. The typically bombastic three-tracker of explosive, crowd-moving techno opens with ‘Love Siren’ packed with all the power and punch required to knock over festival crowds as it systematically builds and drops, this is one for the big open air stages. ‘U Said U’ is a massively hyped track that has been the subject of huge fan-demand since it first featured on Beyer’s Drumcode Radio in January. ‘Rumours’ wraps things up in slightly more understated but non-the-less effective fashion with its drawn out, tension building intro mushrooming into a crescendo of sleazy chords and sparking melodies.

Richie Hawtin provided the following comment on the remix: “Released in the early 90s, the original Jack Master EP was a pseudo-name that I used to record fun classic Chicago inspired tracks that were made for my DJ sets.  Slam’s new updated take on the original, uses the original voice sample (that’s actually mine) and reworks the track into a full throttle stomping jack track perfect for todays dance floors!”

Techno focused, the new Intec release comes from Nicole Moudaber who is one of the worlds leading DJs and producers. 

Having graced the best known clubs and festivals in the world she is a headline act who has also released music on labels such as Adam Beyer's Drumcode and Pan-Pot's Second State. 

Nicole Moudaber features regularly on Intec and a core member of the labels family of artists, which also includes the likes of Harvey McKay, Sidney Charles, Josh Wink, Dosem and Carlo Lio.

With a wealth of music history Nicole Moudaber is an event promoter and founder of MOOD Records, plus her weekly radio show InTheMOOD it helps keep her ahead of the game.

This sophisticated release has industrial undertones and a raw sound that showcases Nicole Moudaber's underground side, with a selection of tracks worthy of Berghains main room.

Empty Space is understated Techno with sparse percussion and deep atmospherics layered over a prominent kick drum. Dark and eerie with industrial undertones, this intelligent track is like a detailed piece of black and white artwork, where shade and texture are used to add contrast and eloquence.

Be Gone has a menacing lead synth and enthralling offbeat stabs that combine with subtle pads to creature a brooding tension. Dancefloor focused, its all about the breakdown where everything becomes a tornado of sound until the storm breaks and a pounding kick drum emerges.

Young Hearts is stripped back with fast flowing high hats and monstrous synths that bellow like air raid sirens. Adding to the menace are sculpted sounds which weave round the vigorous rhythms of the mechanical percussion that houses the tracks array of sonic components.

Hailing from Spain, we are pleased to welcome Ramiro Lopez to take the reigns for our next release. The in-form producer has already released music on the likes of Bedrock, Intec, Suara and Diymanic in a relatively short space of time and garnered major support from Adam Beyer, Carl Cox and Monika Kruse. Coming out on 15th May, his ‘Pretending’ release comprises of 4 tracks that have been a mainstay of Adam Beyer’s sets during the latter part of 2016 and now full force in to 2017. 

The release opens with ‘September’; Atmospheric to its very core, the crunching drums and low end rumbles make this one a sure fire weapon of choice. Next we jump into ‘Loving You’ with a haunting vocal that compliments the stripped back yet refined approach of this track. ‘Come Closer’ featuring Juliet Fox is a dark, rumbling number that screams building percussion that lends itself to become a peak time choice, whether it’s a club or festival. The release closes with ‘Pretending feat. KnowKontrol’; An 8-minute piece of work that is destined for unadulterated dancefloor destruction, whilst maintaining that melodic element that Ramiro Lopez is fast making his signature style.

The new Intec release is from Fabio Neural who is an Intec regular and has also featured music on imprints such as Dubfire’s SCI+TEC, Kaiserdisco’s KD Music, Josh Wink’s Ovum and Adam Beyer’s label Truesoul.

Hotly tipped, Fabio Neural is a producer based in Italy but he also spent some years in Spain which led to him hosting a techno focused radio show for Ibiza Global Radio. He also travels the world as a popular DJ and regularly appears on the same club line-up’s as scene leaders such as Richie Hawtin, Chris Liebing and Sven Väth.

An exciting talent, this four track solo EP is a fine example of why Italian born Fabio has earned international respect and a fan base that spans continents. Track one ‘Shy’ is spacious techno with an understated sound led by a bubbling acid-line that steers the track with purposeful momentum tailored for the dancefloor. Vocal stabs washed in delay flutter across the mix to create a spacious atmosphere, and clap rhythms add a sense of dramatic tension.

Second is ‘Whatever’ that has looped vocals, both uplifting and intense with a held tension ready to erupt. Propelled by the pulsating bassline, this track follows the philosophy of less is more to deliver a compelling slice of Techno gold. Without breaking boundaries, this track refines what many others struggle to achieve, and is a must have DJ tool perfect for peak time plays.

The new Intec release is from D-Unity and Matt Sassari who made their label debut in 2016 with a top selling EP titled “Fire Up” and now it’s time for a much anticipated follow up.

Canadian artist D-Unity has previously released on a wide selection of labels ranging from Toolroom and Suara to Yoshitoshi and Armada. Often at the top of sales charts, his party starting Techno anthems are regularly supported by everyone from Eric Prydz to Danny Tenaglia.

French man Matt Sassari is also a high calibre artist whose music has featured on labels including Tronic, Bitten and UMEK’s 1605 amongst many others. He is also a popular DJ regularly flying between continents to play international gigs.

Both D-Unity and Matt Sassari are solo artists, but when they come together and collaborate their combined output is stuff of legend.

The first track titled “I Like It” has a thick foundation laid by the tracks pounding kick drum. Powerful vocals infuse the track with energy, pulsating pads provide enthralling tension, and bass stabs provide the final touch to this high octane slice of hands in the air Techno.

Track two “All I Want Is” follows the same formula as the first, but with a Hip Hop influenced vocal sample it has more of a party vibe. With a slight tribal influence from the rolling percussion this dancefloor focused track
is a prefect party starter.

This new release is from Many Reasons, which is the Techno alias of Italian duo Angelo Manicone and Michele Colombo, who are also known to many under the alias of MiniCoolBoyz described by Dubfire as the future stars of electronic music. Under their various aliases they have featured music on labels including Phobiq, Break New Soil, Bitten, 100%% Pure, Terminal M, Octopus Black and their own Amazing Records. Since their first release in 2008, the pair have been one of Italys most prominent Techno acts, and have inspired a generation of producers with their cutting edge style. Having originally released their first EP on Intec in 2013, this release marks their return to the label with two cuts of Techno that take influence from a variety of other electronic genres. Track one Aspect has a thick bottom end provided by a pounding kick drum. Slick synth stabs lift the track from its otherwise dark atmosphere, whilst a second melody creates an ethereal tension. Filled with a medley of textures, this dancefloor destroyer unfolds with unexpected twists and turns that are both captivating and intense. The second track Tube has a rolling groove and rumbling bassline, which is tailor made for dark rooms and big sound systems. Layered with uplifting synths that hold a subtle sense of euphoria the dark and light contrast is perfection. Finished off with some looped vocal chants, this track has everything you need to get the party started.
