The song was written in the early days of the Covid pandemic and originally appeared as the 4th track on the 2021 album ‘Wisdom of Crowds’. This remixed and remastered version will be available on all digital platforms on Friday, February 17.

Last summer I sent a demo of the beginnings of a new Animal Souls track to Alison who lives in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. I didn't have any lyrics, just a song title 'On My Way'. I asked Alison if she would write the lyrics and sing on the track because I had a feeling she would be perfect for the song. I think I was right.. you tell me!

On My Way (feat. Alison Cowie)

What started out as a late night, gummy fueled experiment with 6/8 drum programs and sequencers, morphed into this wild 'space-prog-rock' instrumental trip. I'm a big science & space buff and when I was recording the early demos, it reminded me of an episode of 'How The Universe Works' that discussed black hole binaries and the Final Parsec Problem Theory.. that's how the track got its name.. TRUE!

TAKE ME HOME is a brand new Animal Souls track that imagines what a loved one might say to us as they depart this world, giving us comfort and inviting us to drink a toast, because, life goes on..

DECEMBER SONG is the second track on the EP.. it seemed a fitting way to 'take it home' as it were with this instrumental and yes, it was written in December.​
