Michael Forshaw - The Joint

Primarily (and obviously) this short set was dedicated to the midwest acid freaks around Woody McBride, Freddy Fresh, DJ Hyperactive and so on, who made acid music sound like acid again.

Talking about labels like Analog, Communiqué, Electric Music Foundation etc., it was always a love/hate relation. 
As a listener and dancer I loved the tracks that were arranged in a "live" style, with unexpected breaks and changes in the rhythm. 
As a DJ I hated the tracks for the same reason :)

And, especially regarding some of the tracks in this mix, mixing tracks from 7" vinyl and tracks that end abruptly is no fun ;)
